Always loved the Martian voices, evoked a creepy technological culture that was surreal when planted in Victorian England. Had a soft spot always for the Bombarding Machine and Tempest, units that do not take long to build or research in comparison and just reek of firepower. Drone Generation 3 also was hilarious, my brother used that one a lot to do Martian hit and run by getting one of those to dodge all the cannons straight to the Command Post rather than the direct powerhouse tactics I used.
In the Battle Map, where you're moving your units around within the sector, right click to bring up the action menu when selecting the unit with the special ability. Move to the Force Fire section while keeping the right mouse button pressed down. If your units have a special ability (Like Black Dust, Shock Bomb, Scan etc.) it will be displayed to the right of the Force Fire menu. Select the option and then select a desired target (except for Scan as it will scan the whole sector) to see it.
The humans can "Infiltrate" with a motor bike, level 1 can see 1 sector touching the one you "infiltrated", level 2 can see 2 sectors and lvl 3, 3. A motor bike and sapper can use the humans only ability, "Explosives" which if done right, can destroy ANY martian unit INSTANTLY. The martian flames up and blows up, as they throw explosive charges on it. Just right click like the Xeno. Right click and select "Black Smoke" to gas humans w/ a Tempest and 2 and 3 Generation fighting machines.
I was always under the impression that the Xeno Telepath was a living being and not a machine. It just looks so odd and in renders it also looks has dark skin and black eyes, similar to the martians. During the night under the night-vision it also appears bright yellow. I always assumed that was supposed to represent heat from its living skin.
@Mrcryptidsarereal Enhanced Metal Detection becomes available whenever you encounter Mines when attacking a sector. It allows the Scanning Machine to detect the mines. Detect Subterrain Excavations is for when the Tunneling Track Layer is encountered in battle (and when that unit travels underground).
A Xenopath can make humans, flee, freeze, retreat and actually fire on each other. It doesn't last long but it's interesting to watch. Just click it, right click and you should see a few options like "Awe, Freeze..." and I forgot the others. 2nd generation has a few more abilites and 3rd has them all. A Xeno can also "Infitrate" a human CP, right click and select Infiltrate and that will allow you to see what the humans are producing, defenses and units in surrounding sectors.

@Mrcryptidsarereal Im not sure, but I belive that with the excavations upgrade it can discover burrowed human units.

The Tempest is my favorite of all the Martian Machines. Can you make a video of the Tempest in action?
@CommanderElerium Cool. At one point I simply sent in a lot of Tempests in an enemy sector for a real intense battle. XD
