I remember when i first played this in the car with my mom and she thought it was theme song to Satan. Omfg i lost my shit. She said it sounded demonic pffffffff
i counted too scottie kunkle. i took me at least two months to figure out what i was doing wrong. turns out i was not strong enough on kindom hearts two. i needed to not only level up my natural XP but the "Forms" too. when i eventually got the jump boosts and the glide boosts i was laughing. That fuckers days where numbered. //brushes off an asswhooping// "i admit you are very skilled." WHA-?! WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO FOR THIS GUY TO STAY DOWN?!! lol
just want to say: thanks a lot for posting the lyrics in the description rather than putting up what you think it is. its really old and rather sad that people dont want to learn the true lyrics and teach them to friends to at least seem smart. if everybody did this we'd be going nowhere laughing at our own ignorance and not even knowing the true words. thanks a lot! you dont know how happy and grateful i am! :D
Nobody's gonna top this ever as the best final boss and its mainly because of this perfectly suited and extravagant piece of music. Square just don't make em like they used to.
He is the best boss because he has a 3CD build up of his story and is just appearing often enough to keep you hooked yet staying mysterious till the twist is resolved, giving him the best story for a ff villain.
This music hits hard....sephiroth is the most iconic ff villain EVER, he found out he was a apart of j.e.n.o.v.a then after finding out the truth he follows his "mothers" footsteps and trys to destroy the earth but cloud stops sephiroth... After 7 we move on to advent children were kadaj takes in the "mother's" juice or whatever turning into sephiroth long enough to fight cloud eventually losing fading into nothing but a memory.... then on to dissidia were.... he eventually makes a "forever appearance"
My favorite bad guy. Crisis Core shows another side to Sephiroth I've never seen. Makes it hard to dislike him after seeing what he went thru and how the people around him were affected by his actions.
Justforvisit Actually they probably didn't use this since this is not the version they used in the advent children movie. That version has a very weird and out of place metal guitar solo that always screws me up when im humming along.
When I played this game in 1998 and I first heard this song coming on I was like "holy SH*T Im in trouble!" and the screen hadn't even come on yet, it was still black before you saw anything!
@I8Gsustoo You know towards the end of the game you start figuring out that sephiroth had complete control of jenova the entire time and had chopped her into a few peices so he could use her body parts for his somewhat powerful clones. Most FFVI fanboys never look past what their circle jerk tells them though.
THANK GOD there is at least this orchestrated version without an old fucker saying boring and useless shit for half an hour before playing it. epic damn song.
O_O never thought about that ... That explains why it has a very long sword hidden in the garage and the fact that during sleep starts to say something about "mother" or "despair" ... Should I be concerned?
not a matter of standing up to ones father its a matter of him being disappointed mad taking shit away etc something you cant control most of the time except by taking care of business
@Raxus007 dont forget about the increasing the difficulty, add more fights, but I would use some elements from the original script(which were awsome) as well
@I8Gsustoo that doesn't necessarily make a bad guy more bad ass, that makes a bad guy more evil, which yeah Kefka was arguably the most evil character in the franchise. Sephiroth was a bad ass warrior though, I mean cutting up the shinra building like that was pretty boss
@golumpygo I know what it is, I was just pointing out that a more creative one than what was posted before was as posted. I actually habitually sing this song when I hear it.
@DeleriousSheep remake doesnt necessarily mean "screw the original" as i said with the story left intact, just updated graphics, heck maybe some new dungeons like they did with the rest FF games,
Latter; yes, former; waaaaaaaaaaaaaaah? Chrisis core gameplay licked the sweat of a turkey's ballsack. The dodge roll breaks the game. Hit, dodge hit. dodge hit, snore.
@Hatesuke plans for a remake have been tossed around by the developer for some time but nothing so far has been done but based on the company's track record i would say there is still reason to hope for a reimagining but i wouldn't hold out hope for a direct remake it would go against the core principle of the franchise
Thumbs up if you believe that the FFVII should be remaked so that it has very good graphics (PS3 quality for examlpe) AND the story left INTACT!! So that new generations know that the best games appear ONLY ONCE in a lifetime!!
@dawnkryxel Well I guess those polls had a point, Kefka was a great villian, and he was also very well done in dissidia (I loved the comic relief he gave) but I guess people resonate toward Sephiroth better because at the beginning of crisis core, he acted just like any regular person and was a hero. and it great when he learned where he came from and how it drove him insane, what a excelent but also tragic way to make a villian.
@brett2tt The game has an insane room for improvement. The game mechanics/content were decent at best. What made Final Fantasy VII amazing was the story and content. Everything else was in the "okay" range. The fact that the FFVII project was rushed should be proof enough to you. They lucked out on this game being one of the most memorable RPGs of all time. There's actually legitimate room for redevelopment on things such as the battle-system.
To right, and on the plus side, we are now living in the 20th century so that also means no more awkward e notes that make zero sense. now we have real voices behind characters and considering how they have been in the compilation of the game, they should go perfectly in the game. (This could just be because I have a soft spot for Steve Blum as Vincent.)
There's frogs in Paris,
Eat a bear, then repeat,
Sephiroth!
I laughed a lot.
Thank you!
I laughed much too hard! XD
Zedan Borrie that not what that saying
Charlene Booker No shit?
-sarcasm-
Zedan Borrie
bells, frogs, big cherries, Peter pan, magic cheese,
SEPHIROTH!
Most iconic boss theme ever.
That's for sure!
yep
I mean it's no Dancing Mad, but it's still pretty awesome.
Brian Baratheon you forgot to add your oppinion cock
The Imperial March for gamers
Best orchestrated version, hands down
This is the best version of this song. I can't stand how every other version has the guitars in them
same
I agree about the guitar, this is a very good version. To me the game has the best version.
samdiego I know right!
samdiego I Gogeta disagree with that
Wish I could give this comment a gazillion thumbs up. Best version by far, the most substance.
Holy christ this is an amazing remix, what god could possibly make a masterpiece even better!?
This song will never be a memory.
"Let's see how funny the length of my hair is after you've taken a bath in the sun!"
I remember when i first played this in the car with my mom and she thought it was theme song to Satan. Omfg i lost my shit. She said it sounded demonic pffffffff
to players, he IS satan.
final fantasy 7, kindom hearts, dissidia... hate him. so so much might aswell be satan
Look for the lyrics of that shit! Your mom has reason!
Danielmurray it took me about 12 days to beat him on Kingdom hearts. until I found out his rythm and started defeating him like he was candy
i counted too scottie kunkle.
i took me at least two months to figure out what i was doing wrong.
turns out i was not strong enough on kindom hearts two.
i needed to not only level up my natural XP but the "Forms" too.
when i eventually got the jump boosts and the glide boosts i was laughing.
That fuckers days where numbered.
//brushes off an asswhooping//
"i admit you are very skilled."
WHA-?! WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO FOR THIS GUY TO STAY DOWN?!! lol
1:16 HE'S GOT SYPHILIS! GIVE THE MAN MAC N' CHEESE! HE'S GOT SYPHILIS! GIVE THE MAN MAC N' CHEESE! SEPHIROTH!
Satoshi Mashiro
bells frogs big cherries Peter Pan magic cheese SEPHIROTH
just want to say: thanks a lot for posting the lyrics in the description rather than putting up what you think it is. its really old and rather sad that people dont want to learn the true lyrics and teach them to friends to at least seem smart. if everybody did this we'd be going nowhere laughing at our own ignorance and not even knowing the true words. thanks a lot! you dont know how happy and grateful i am! :D
If we ever meet someone if real life who is worthy of having this as their theme song... we're all dead.
Thank you for making my day. I actually laughed at that. I appreciate it when people do that.
Nobody's gonna top this ever as the best final boss and its mainly because of this perfectly suited and extravagant piece of music. Square just don't make em like they used to.
Im sure they will again eventually.
Theres xehanort?
He is the best boss because he has a 3CD build up of his story and is just appearing often enough to keep you hooked yet staying mysterious till the twist is resolved, giving him the best story for a ff villain.
@pst5345 FF8 has 4 Discs though
Somebody... Please... I can't... Contain the nostalgia......
I bought this game for $7. I was nosing around in GameStop about 2 months later and saw it for $50. Luckiest moment of my life.
You're welcome. I appreciate when people take notice.
any game with a song this bad-ass deserves to be played
This music hits hard....sephiroth is the most iconic ff villain EVER, he found out he was a apart of j.e.n.o.v.a then after finding out the truth he follows his "mothers" footsteps and trys to destroy the earth but cloud stops sephiroth...

i feel how my blood get freeze in my vains, but i don't understand why - because of the winter or because of the scarry sound of this song.
Excellent
Perfection
Intense
Crazy awesome!
... this dosen't even come close to describing how amazing this is!
This one was the very first Version of the song I heard. And years later is still pretty good
So amazing.
You know shit 'bout to go down when you hear this song in the game
Too much awesomeness!
Bells, Frogs, Big Cherries, peter ban, Magic Cheese: SEPHIROTH!
TheCeekon
DAMMIT! I SAID THAT ONE!
REUNION! REUNION! REUNION!
Amazing!
Epic!
Darkness!
this truly deserves the term 'smart-ass' in the best way XD
Sephiroth is just a badass legend.
in all honesty i like all the one winged angels but the orchestra one is my favorite
...I love Sephiroth...
I love Bowser...
'cuz he looks as a... spiky turtle...
And... breaths fire...
(just a joke XD)
My favorite bad guy. Crisis Core shows another side to Sephiroth I've never seen. Makes it hard to dislike him after seeing what he went thru and how the people around him were affected by his actions.
I love JAPAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and Godzilla!
Perfect
This is used for the Menu screen on the Advent Children DVD too. lol
What else should they possible have used? xD
Justforvisit
Just mentioning where else it shows up was all. Distant Worlds has it's own orchestral version. ;)
Justforvisit Actually they probably didn't use this since this is not the version they used in the advent children movie. That version has a very weird and out of place metal guitar solo that always screws me up when im humming along.
@MrYTGuy1 NO THAT IS NOT WHAT HE WAS TALKING ABOUT he was talking about the DVD menu not in the actual movie
When I played this game in 1998 and I first heard this song coming on I was like "holy SH*T Im in trouble!" and the screen hadn't even come on yet, it was still black before you saw anything!
2:39 2:45
@I8Gsustoo You know towards the end of the game you start figuring out that sephiroth had complete control of jenova the entire time and had chopped her into a few peices so he could use her body parts for his somewhat powerful clones. Most FFVI fanboys never look past what their circle jerk tells them though.
I shall give you dis pear. :3
Yes uwu
WHAT THE FUCK HE ACTUALLY DID IN SMASH
THANK GOD there is at least this orchestrated version without an old fucker saying boring and useless shit for half an hour before playing it. epic damn song.
Wait what?
thanks, i cant un-hear that now
O_O never thought about that ... That explains why it has a very long sword hidden in the garage and the fact that during sleep starts to say something about "mother" or "despair" ... Should I be concerned?
I've never played any FF games but hearing this makes me want to buy them until i catch up to them! that is how awesome this music is.
Best final boss music EVER!
sephirot for the world
always a classic no matter when i hear it
buddy when you feel like a god like Sephiroth, they both sound BAD ASS.
not a matter of standing up to ones father its a matter of him being disappointed mad taking shit away etc something you cant control most of the time except by taking care of business
God i love this song!
@XxXAdaliaXxX it is estuans interius, ira vehementi SEPHIROTH! sors imanis et inanis. Veni, veni, veninas ne me mori facias.
"Your father looks angry your report card"
"Music plays"
This gives more emotions than the first one
everytime i hear the french horn instrument, i immediately think of jaws
Everybody is a badass until those strings kick in
Intro to any serious moment
Only 1 game where sephiroth is allmost impossible to beat.. KH2, and i finally after a long break of frusyration managed to do it! Life complete!
1:11-1:16 best part
I have never been into the final fantasy games, like at all, but when I hear this, I become one with the goosebumps.
the sound of death all hail sephiroth
*wild magikarp appears*
*one-winged angel plays*
Whenever you hear this music in the game or movie you know something bad is gonna happen
i would love to see sephiroth fighting rinoa as she looks in dead fantasy 2. that would be epic
@Raxus007 dont forget about the increasing the difficulty, add more fights, but I would use some elements from the original script(which were awsome) as well
holy cow, now that i saw this i can actually hear that. lol
Hears theme play...calls employer. Tells him "i'm fucked!"
@Hatesuke i think that they said that they would remake the game...that is whAt i remember reading from facebook....
@golumpygo
I know what it is, I was just pointing out that a more creative one than what was posted before was as posted. I actually habitually sing this song when I hear it.
@WhatYourMomSaid alone and sad probably loves the advent children version
@DeleriousSheep remake doesnt necessarily mean "screw the original" as i said with the story left intact, just updated graphics, heck maybe some new dungeons like they did with the rest FF games,
The God born a man, kneel before the one winged angel!
Latter; yes, former; waaaaaaaaaaaaaaah?
Chrisis core gameplay licked the sweat of a turkey's ballsack.
The dodge roll breaks the game.
Hit, dodge hit. dodge hit, snore.
SEPHIROTH IS THE BEST PERIOD
There is a trope named after this.
i want to hear the metal version mixed with this super lol super incredible
@Hatesuke plans for a remake have been tossed around by the developer for some time but nothing so far has been done but based on the company's track record i would say there is still reason to hope for a reimagining but i wouldn't hold out hope for a direct remake it would go against the core principle of the franchise
@brett2tt in fact haven't you heard about square enix's plan to remake ff8 instead of 7?
@Raxus007 that would be pretty awesome, but still that would make it twice in one lifetime.
Like this version best. Was used in a race car video that I liked.
This is the song that plays when batman walks into a room
the god of darkness
Thumbs up if you believe that the FFVII should be remaked so that it has very good graphics (PS3 quality for examlpe) AND the story left INTACT!!
So that new generations know that the best games appear ONLY ONCE in a lifetime!!
He means a remake where the only thing that changes is the graphics, and maybe the addition of voice acting. A redo, shall we say?
@dawnkryxel Well I guess those polls had a point, Kefka was a great villian, and he was also very well done in dissidia (I loved the comic relief he gave) but I guess people resonate toward Sephiroth better because at the beginning of crisis core, he acted just like any regular person and was a hero. and it great when he learned where he came from and how it drove him insane, what a excelent but also tragic way to make a villian.

There is only one man who can challenge Sephiroth and win, and that man is.....
CHUCK NORRIS
It should play when you're fighting Miguel in Chrono Cross, too.
"by death's invatation"
Well Sephiroth has the Sun on his side.
Am I the only one who headbangs at this?
The first minute of this sounds very Stravinsky.
I agree, but I really like that aspect. I hadn't noticed until you mentioned it. You have a good ear.
Thanks man, I love the influence
Nobou Uematsu has ever since been inspired by classical music :)
@Ultimauser50 probably one of the ebst, indeed^^
Someone tell me the difference between DISSIDIA version and the FF7 Orchestra Version? I dont see it
I've been looking for this everywhere! I first heard it in a great Machinima called "The Mombasa Massacre" Where did u ever get this version?!
1 person probably got owned at FFVII games
Ladies and Gents I give u the one winged angel 1:16
yay! i can listen without getting into insulting arguments! god some people got irritating on the other vids!
@Danzilla1996
That's where you're wrong. Many also enjoy the Advent Children version because it's different than the original, including the lyrics.
2:26 sephiroth gets his tango on!
I still wonder, if he has 1 wing ,why he never opens his sec one. I am sure he has a second wing. Maybe it's invisible?
Sephiroth is the most Bad Ass villain ever
