I've been running this (and variations of it, great for task completion) and one caveat - beware getting *too* much damage reduction treasures or things like the merc that hits for 4-8 damage 4-8 times will do zero damage each time, and not trigger Trigore.
Baine is a Rare and you want Rares from packs. Under 40 packs overall gets you all the Rares, and you get packs from the storyline and from task chains. Then when you do Baine's tasks, you have all the Coins you need to make him playable. From bounties, Baine coins come from Sunken City, Kresh and Shek'zara.
Going to try the build but it seems they nerfed guff's equipment that used to give him dmg now he gets a heal as battlecry in its place it appears in game.
The equipment's damage was added to baseline Guff damage. No damage has been lost. All of Guff's current equipment is quite lackluster though, I usually use the one that improves his Taunt ability.

How would you say the upgrade order for these 3 looks? Should I just check your "Protectors Abilities and Equipment Leveling Upgrading Guide" for this or is it outdated?
It's up-to-date for these, they did not get any ability changes. Trigore is the easiest, just ability 2 and equipment 2. Baine is slightly more complicated as he gets a bigger upgrade from going to 5 than to other levels. So you're looking at Chain Heal and aoe to 5 before the equipment and finally the melee attack. Niuzao is the most complex one as you really use all abilities. Its upgrades are linear, so you can improve everything roughly equally, with a slight preference to get the Divine Shield ability to 5.
I did not manage to find any, but maybe not. It is not something I consider important anyway because that would just limit the available comps you can play to like three.
@@OldGuardian Well, I have run into Dopplegangsters 5 times now and this comp can beat them handily if you get a) damage reduction treasure, or b) +health to beasts so that Bain is targeted by them instead of Trigore. Haven't fought them w/o those yet though.
Weird question, how come after you beat a match the end screen shows how much experience you've gained and it's green in text. But when I play I don't see that on my screen? Do you have any UI mods?
@@gillx83 not really, if you only play mercs the only rewards you get for the paid pass are 3 skins for the free merc they give away every pass (so far they've been Vanessa and Murky) and the extra gold you would get from the extra XP, you could use the gold for some mercs packs I guess but you can get plenty of packs from completing task chains (task 16 to 18)

Not really, no. I have tried Cariel and Cornelius, but neither works as well.

He got the tavern pass, the number is green because it increases the amount of XP gained by a certain %
