Very nice work. It is a good idea to ruff up your leather a bit before you glue it. Use some 100 grit sandpaper. That will help the glue to be stronger when it dries. Your work looks just fine.
I would have like to see how you craved out the knife part. that to me is the hardest Never mind I checked out another vid and you show it there. very good. don't waste peoples time by repeating.

What's the functional significance of a frog on a sheath?
It allows the sheath to be mounted on the belt. There are ways to attach it to a belt without a leather frog, but it wouldn't be comfortable.
