Only into “warm up lap “ of video and im not a track day bro here….that being said it looked like a lot of those bikes he was following /passing were riding like my sorry ass would … looked like not much if any body shift into corners , ass’s were staying almost centered on seat as cornering…even the guy he started out following looked like he was pushing the lean more than the body imo ..so maybe they’re not even pushing ..?

Hey man, no need to use the clutch on upshifts. Just preload the shifter, back off the throttle a hair, then welcome to the next gear as you quickly go full throttle again. It's how we shifted before quickshifters. Nice riding man. Keep it up.
That was a good run. This is exactly why I don’t get rid of my engine braking when I get tuned. I don’t have a track or time to find a track but I hit corners like I’m on track and that engine braking has saved me a few times! I do t have ABS or any rider assists on my bike and I love it. Nice session
6R is power limited in sections where over 140HP is needed (straights) BUT stock litrebikes are wheelbase (read: agility/maneuverbility) limited in the smaller turns.
You also have to remember man… who the hell wants to crash or scrape a $40k bike for a hobby track day….. I have a 24 S1000RR M package…. Yes I ride “aggressively” but I’m not doing NOTHING that would even resemble coming close to dropping this thing…. Now if I were to get maybe a zx10r or R1 along with this then I would not care… But not her…. But nah… We not crashing Ducati or BMW…
I mean there’s a difference between being safe with your bike and being a hazard, most liter bike guys are hazards in higher groups that they shouldn’t be in, not saying this guy was but they run more risk of getting hit riding slow than they do keeping the pace and not being a hazard to faster riders
Me too I dont want to take risk dropping my H2R on track cause its 60,000$ bike only straight away. Not buying other bikes specially european bikes cause they are cheap, and not reliable. 😊

He was talking about turn 6 the long sweeping left hand turn up the hill, he was telling me to keep my position to the entrance of the turn in the middle instead of the far right because it will help me get faster in the exit with hitting both Apex’s essentially, sorry if that’s still confusing 😅
Zx6r’s sound great… A kid I always see has one, and the KRT graphics are insane… But please cut the crap…. On track you can get beat by anything if the rider is serious. Let’s not make it about the bike.

To much coasting... You will gain a lot of time by either be full on the gas or brakes. Its more a mindset that a skillset. When you got that nailed work on lines, move your brake points, brake deeper in to corner (trailbraking) and later on body position (Nice to have but not needed until you begin push your tires to the limet of grip)
No. A 600 is never faster than a liter bike. When you start combing riders with bikes is where fun things happen. A 600 with a very good rider is much faster than a 1000 with an sub-par/ average rider but you put a very good rider on a 1000 and it will beat the 600 every time.
I have an ancient gxr , 97 S.R.A.D. but..... its light it quick and it gives my litre bikes hell. Polished intakes , a comp. Igniter and the rest is history.
have you figured of the weird front front suspension or did you send it out to race tech or some place like that the 23 my friend has is the only thing i looked at ( preload all on the right fork) is why i ask i haven looked hard into it because theres not one in the stable at this sec but this would def be her if it was . had a 07 and loved every sec , i like the zx6r has factory quick shifter where every one else you need after market. great times and wish i was out there with you . hope ill get back to the track in 25
Front suspension isn’t necessarily weird it just sucks from factory, you gotta upgrade it if you’re serious about track riding cuz I’m pretty much maxing mine out and I’m not even close to that bikes full potential
@s1krocket I mean weird by only one fork tube have all the adjustments. Ya if you want to be fast at the track suspension and brakes are the first part seat time is the 2nd and then performance up grades o ya more seat time ;-) hope your some where right now it's 13 and snow and I'm being a loser keyboard warrior at work :-( go ride for us both brother ;-)

Congrats this was my 5th track day 💀 passed everyone in that session at least once maybe twice. In no way am I claiming I’m the fastest but I sure as shit got it for 5 track days 🤷🏼♂️
No a 600 is never faster. Check AMA track record times. Liter bikes usually at the highest skill levels are generally 2.5 to 4.5 seconds faster. Different story when riding smaller gokart tracks.
