PO SB stands for "Post Office Saving Bank" schemes. IT INCLUDES SB, RD, TD, MIS, KVP, NSC, SCSS, SSA, PPF, MSSC, PM SCHEMES. These are savings schemes offered by the Indian Postal Service, which are similar to traditional savings accounts offered by banks. These schemes are aimed at encouraging individuals to save money and offer a range of options such as fixed deposits, recurring deposits, and National Savings Certificates. They are considered to be safe investments as they are backed by the government and offer competitive interest rates.
There are several types of PO SB schemes offered by the Indian Postal Service, some of the popular ones include:
Savings Account: This is a basic savings account that allows individuals to deposit and withdraw money as needed. It also offers an interest rate.
Time Deposit: Also known as a fixed deposit, this scheme allows individuals to deposit a lump sum of money for a fixed period of time, usually ranging from 1 year to 5 years. It offers a higher interest rate than a savings account.
Recurring Deposit: This scheme allows individuals to make regular deposits (typically on a monthly basis) over a fixed period of time. It also offers a higher interest rate than a savings account.
National Savings Certificate (NSC): This is a long-term investment option in which individuals can invest a lump sum of money for a period of 5 or 10 years. It offers a fixed rate of interest and also provides tax benefits.
Public Provident Fund (PPF): This is a long-term investment option that offers tax benefits and a fixed rate of interest. The minimum investment period is 15 years.
Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana: This is a savings scheme for the girl child which can be opened by a natural or legal guardian.
All these schemes are offered by the government so they are considered safe and secure investment options.

Sir, Is MTS aspirants should learn about SB-Orders ?
Actually not in syllabus. But, updates you have to know. For example SB 3 adults can open as per an order 16/2023, but it’s not updated in website.
