Ok but Kaeya being protective when the brothers were arguing and noticing that Klee was uncomfortable was so sweet, they probably also reminded him of him and Diluc.

Oh my god, yes. The way he immediately cut it in after hearing how upset Klee was, and literally threatening to beat the crap out of them if they didn’t stop, then pulled them aside for a “chat”. Straight up Dad behaviour.

There's a reason Kaeya and Klee got grounded by Jean when Klee Blew Good Hunter Stove into the air.
Instead of saying don't get caught he should have said don't get in trouble if you wanna be safe
Kaeya's role in Knights of Favonius seems to be something of a spymaster. That's why he's a cavalry captain without any cavalry.
As a result, his advice is as sneaky as he is himself.
I was just starting to think he was being pretty responsible through the whole quest (telling Klee to not run off, warning her about fungi, telling off the guys that were arguing) and then he said this 😂
Kaeya is such a nice big brother to Klee.
Klee has two men from the same fallen civilization that dote on her.
Maybe if Dainsleif and Pierro met her they would fall in love with that little pyromaniac too.

And here I was, thinking Kaeya was being a very good uncle for Klee. I mean... he still was... but that advice tho 😂😂😂
He's been so parental, protective, and loving over Klee for this trip though. I believe he intentionally did all that paperwork knowing Jean would probably give him the vacation time so he could watch over her. Nearly all of his voicelines were caring for Klee, it's so adorable. I think many people's impressions of Kaeya before this were him being a cold and emotionless/slightly cruel person, but I think this event showed them that he really does have a big heart. And the way we see him completely lose his calm and collected exterior(I mean, we've seen him fight with Diluc before, but then he's still smiling and saying insulting things in a nice voice, here he just completely dropped it and went savage) for the first time when the brothers fight and upset Klee really says a lot about how much Kaeya cares about her. I love this event so much

Kaeya is something of a secret agent. Keeping one's eyes open and drawing conclusions from what one sees is an essential skill for people like him.
Also, his Kaenti'ah eyes might see more than ordinary people do, at least on the level of Elemental Sight, so he might have noticed the place is full of water elementals, while the rope is real.
