    My light bar on my tundra came with a relay harness. I have it hooked up and the switch is a generic 3 prong rocker switch (with led). My new push switch has 4 wires.
    The 3 prong switch has positive and negative and a blue wire which I’m assuming is sending 12v to relay?
    So I’m assuming the extra wire is for tail lamp fuse and night time running. I was wondering why 4 wires….

      I am in the same boat and trying to figure it out. So positive to green, blue wire to red 1 and then ground to black? 2nd red wire would just be for switch led light, whether you want it always on or with accessories.

    Hi there, I have just installed a roof LED Light Bar but wish to change the switch to an OEM. The issue is the original switch wire that comes with the harness has only 2 wires. I'm so confused as all videos show 3 wires, can this be done still??. Also this is my second Bar can this run separately or they both need to work together?
    Thanks

    • @LiL13izzy7

      This is such an open ended question because you could wire a switch to anything. There are so many different kinds of switches too (round is just a shape). What is your accessory that you're trying to run?

    I have that other AOB switch with the red, black, green and blue wires. I have a harness from Lasfit with red, black and yellow wires. I want to have the Light bar turn off when the headlights are off, and I want the bottom of the switch to illuminate with the rest of the switches at night. Could you please tell me the easiest way to do this. Thank you.

    • @LiL13izzy7
      @LiL13izzy7  2 года назад

      Regardless of the color of the wires, the orientation should match up to the same diagram (the harness should be interchangeable with the switches I believe). Anyway, I think the purpose of the switch is to be able to control your light bar independently of your headlights (otherwise, why have the switch in the first place?)
      As far as the switch light illuminating with the others at night, I used an add-a-circuit to connect Red 2 (or whatever color line is in that 3rd position on your switch harness), to the tail circuit. When I turn the headlights on and off, the switch illuminates with the console switches. ruclips.net/video/hGHI3vgkV8w/видео.html

      @@LiL13izzy7 no I went back with a test light and the red wire that goes from the relay to the lights has no current. Keys on or when switch is pressed. Nothing. So I ordered a better harness

    • @surslaughter3524
      @surslaughter3524 Год назад

      New harness did the trick. I my only issue now is after following the installation instructions, the light on my switch stays on even when the car is off. I feel like it will end up killing my battery in time. I tried tapping into a fuse that only turns on when the car is on but I had no lights. Only way I can get them to work is by tapping into a fuse that is hot at all times. I tapped into my power windows fuse. They don’t work when the car is off, but there is a current obviously when it’s off because the fog lights will turn on and the switch has power.
      Any idea how to remedy this? Or as long as I just don’t forget to turn them off, will this not cause much of a power draw?
