    Thank you very much! I hope to retire next year, sell my home and take up full-time RV living. Beginning now to learn as much as possible before making a decision on what and when to buy. Your candid advice is appreciated very much!

    I have been to 6 different dealerships lately and idk if it's the time of year or our age(about 30) we are planning to make a purchase soon when we find the right trailer but almost all the salesman have been very low pressure telling us to go home and think it over or don't rush they can order one in in a short time if the one the have gets sold while we are gone. It's been very plestent honestly. I almost feel bad deciding against the RVs they had and going to find one that fits our family better. So not all salesman are high pressure thanks for all the good info 😁

    Good series of videos, but who knew I needed a masters in RVing to BUY one,, nevermind own one. Now I have to rethink if RVing is more a hassle than its enjoyable.

    I tell them no when they say" if we can make the numbers satisfactory to you will you buy today". The NO interrupts the process.

    Hello RV Masters. I really appreciate your insight and shared information. Your videos have helped me have a much better year two driving experience in our Thor ACE 30.3. Fortunately for me I am able to deal with a RV dealership that is honest as well as helpful and we were permanent campers for about 8 years before moving to a motorhome so we already had a working knowledge about dealing with campers. Do you have any advice about getting driving lessons? I have used a bunch of your ideas already and they were great. My thought is that spending time with a professional driver like you would be really beneficial. In any case thank you for all the great information - you are really making a difference!

    I grew up around car salesmen. First sign of push and I'm gone. I do a lot of research and a sales pitch is a put off to me. By the time I have decided what I want, I am not going to be strong-armed into something else. Have my price in mind with little wiggle room.
    At this point, I am trying to find out quality of the coach. Construction materials, durability. Big TVs, outdoor kitchens, outdoor entertainment systems! Just eyewash. I want counterspace, storage, quality materials and construction practices.
    I recently saw a video of a big 5th wheel that tipped over. Fell apart like it was made from crackers.
    Why do manufacturers put all their effort into cosmetics? Are people that gullible?

    • @RVMasters
      @RVMasters  5 лет назад

      Yes, they are! It's sad to say. That's why I did these videos - I myself couldn't believe what I was seeing in the industry. In many of my other videos people remark "Well I'D never do that" or "I expect more of my salesperson", etc. But that's the point! I did too, but that's not how it works in this industry!
      But for those that don't heed warnings.... well, learn like I did. Right? Thanks for watching!

    I am hoping to get your opinion on 2 deals I'm considering? 2020 Entegra Odyssey 31f. Dealer 1: Not local. Offer ~$74k with autojacks and waiving fees. Dealer 2: Local. Offer $77k, installing the autojacks, and installing 340 watts of solar. I'm leaning towards the local dealer but could I do even better or is the non local deal the best? THANK YOU! :)

    • @RVMasters
      @RVMasters  4 года назад +2

      Depends on the MSRP and the included features. The one thing I can say is that in my opinion it doesn't matter if the dealer is local or not - although it "feels" better to have a local dealer, it's my experience that it doesn't matter: you end up waiting in line anyway, and any dealer that can service the component can do the work. Many times I ended up at a 'competitive' dealer (than the one I bought from) because their schedule was better or I liked their work better. So in my opinion make the decision based on $$$, not the 'feel good' of local versus not local. I'm sure others have a different opinion.
      As far as the deal, I recommend my $97 training - 7 HIOURS - on how to buy an RV and how to save thousands doing it... it'll save you money for sure. See more at rvmasters.com. Good luck!

    No "right rig " must b true bc every person blog-ing said the went thru 3 models every1. So best u can do is pick a major style or brand or package or type & know some ppl r 2 rig ppl. 1week, mayb2 trip max & it's your 3rd driver or store it anywhere rig.

    Waisted 60 minutes of my life watching those four videos, they taught nothing.. Then I check your website and you want $97 to teach me how to get a good deal. Why would you charge potential customers $97 to learn how to get a great deal, if they will likely return to buy the other courses you offer. Isnt the goal to get more trailer owners, so that they can buy more courses? Instead, you charge people to get a trailer and then when they don't buy a trailer because they couldn't get a good deal, you loose future rv training customers. SMH, salesmen just never get it.

      Edmund, I don't understand. His you tube videos are free. To put the documentations together, research, etc, cost at least $50. He wants to include an incentive for all his hard work and due diligence.
