In this video I wanted to show you how Finnish sauna is in the family culture. This is not a public sauna, this is a family sauna situated right outside a summer cottage. Sauna is usually built close to or facing a lake, since people go swimming straight from sauna to cool off. I am Lithuanian but I have acquaintances with Finnish and Estonian when I returned from the island of Saaremaa to Lithuania once (after the refreshing sensations of the sauna) I was passionate about building my own sauna.it has become a tradition inseparable from all the festivities and summer pleasures. The sauna is not new in my country, but the traditional Lithuanian sauna is a bit different (it's a building with a lot of steam and moisture) and the Finnish sauna is different, it's dry and hotter. The Finns are an honorable nation from which many nations should learn many things
So peaceful!! Korean Saunas are open to public, so there are usually many many many x 100 people in Korean Saunas 😔😔 I think I love everything about Finland!! 💕💕💕
There are public saunas here, too, but they would never fit 100 people. Finnish people like space, quietude and cleanliness. But your country have many other wonderful things, Serena!

Depending on the type of sauna, my favorite temperature inside the sauna is between +90°C and +120°C. Also to add, most of the Finns including myself are usually naked in the sauna (except in videos etc.).
90 degrees C is too much for my family, we prefer 70 degrees C. Yes, we are also all naked in sauna. I might have forgotten to mention that in the video and also that public saunas keep their temperature about 70C to 80C. Thank you for taking the time to comment about how you prefer your sauna. 🙂
@@TTimeConscious I apologize for forgetting to thank you for your video, it is interesting to hear how other people experience sauna and I of course appreciate different views and opinions, there is not only one correct way to use the sauna. My only intention was to offer another point of view and some additional information. Regarding also the temperatures around +90°C and over, it is true that such temperatures are not for everyone and they most probably are not even reasonable in all of the saunas in the world. The most essential subject is that we love saunas in such a way that suits us. We all experience it differently and that is valuable. 😊
