About what you said about Miko being held back a year cause of her learning and focusing problems, that was actually one of the early concepts for the character that didn’t make the cut. It’s assumed that Miko is home schooled since Nica told her what it’s like in high school for her. And they never really say in the show that Miko has ADHD, but her mom does say that she needs to stay focused. And about Dan talking about how Miko dyes her hair, in the flashbacks of episodes Ralphie Bear is Back and Settling the Score, Miko’s hair seemed to have always been bluish with pink shine, which could be connected to Mitch assuming Miko is a glitch/part glitch! Besides, when was the last time you saw a little kid with dyed hair?
My cousin who is 6 literally has red streaks in her hair. And just a couple of days ago I saw a little kid with full on red hair. So I’m pretty sure Miko always dyed her hair, even when she was young. If it wasn’t dyed i feel like her parents would be weirded out by their kid that was just born having blue and purple vibrant hair. So what I’m saying is, it’s pretty normal for little kids to have dyed hair nowadays.
@@shadow_spite7121 Marge Simpson always had blue hair, not to mention Milhouse and Chief Wiggum. Miko and Marge are cartoons! Who knows? If Miko’s hair was always bluish, she obviously adds magenta highlights and keratin.
@@JohnSkellington yeah but the simpsons doesn’t have actual human characters, so it can be normal for characters to have any hair color, but Glitch Techs has actual human characters. Kinda’ve a weird comparison you made
Currently from what I've seen in the show, there's no major evidence that points to Miko being part glitch or even a full-on glitch in the show. Dan has said there's a canon reason for her being immune to being "reset" but that hasn't been revealed yet (the assumption is that this would be addressed if Season 3 had been completed).
Interesting facts on our favorite gamer girl. I'm surprised about her surname Kubota , I always thought it was her father's surname one that his family took when then immigrated to Japan.
@@symbiote3220 I didn't mean that he's of Japanese decent, that his ancestors( great grandparents) maybe took a Japanese surname to better integrate them selves into Japanese society know we know it was in honor of Mayumi's father.
My headcanon is that Hugh has ancestors from the Czech Republic, where Kubota is also a surname within that country (I looked it up and it IS an actual Czech surname). It would explain the reason why the family's name is Kubota, but that isn't the case as Dan has told us. Still, it is my headcanon, so I'm sticking with it.
And, that's bad? Seriously, there is nothing wrong with shows wanting to highlight characters with a different ethnicity than Caucasians. Pretty sure Dan and the art crew went through dozens of renditions until the settled on the designs we got in the final cut of the show. If you look more closely at the early designs you can see there was a heavy influence from "Fan Boy & Chum-Chum" in them. Clearly the art team decided to steer away from that, so people wouldn't get confused over this being a separate show from the former.
@@SSobotkaJr I don't think they meant that it's bad. They most likely were making a joke on how they went from all white to many different ethnicities and the harsh contrast between the concept art and what we have now

West Asian cultures the marriage surname is backwards, the wife imparts her name...and I highly doubt and wide eyed blonde man is of Japanese descent

So? It's not like they shoehorned ethnicity into the show. Its just a pretty diverse cast. Like the real world.

RIP Tak Kubota
I thought that miko from glitch techs and miko from transformers prime were the same person
Both are far different from each other, as well as the surnames: Miko KUBOTA is from Glitch Techs, Miko NAKADAI is from Transformers Prime.
