That lens hood is very flimsy and sub par qualty. It is very difficult if not impossible to attach it if i put a filter on the lens, even a slim one. Don't know if it's defective. Did you encounter the same issue?
I have been looking for some review about this lens, thanks for making the video (you got a subscriber!). Is it possible for you to share some of the raw images with the yn85mm?
@@photorabz Thanks for the raw images. The images are very sharp, even at 200%, it a bit hard to see in youtube video on 1080p monitor. I am going to order this lens right away. Thank again for your help!
Thx for the comment. I haven't use the 85 from viltrox, i used the 56mm viltrox, it is not as sharp as the 85 yongnuo. Add to that this 85 is full frame the viltrox is apsc

Yeah the lens hood is not good. Even on the f1.4 version

Thank you so much. I will try to put a link in the description with some raw images (just after my vacation)
@@photorabz Sounds great, enjoy your vacation! :)
Please send me a message on instagram to remind me uploading raw images

@@KumarPrashant27 you are welcome, glad you liked the images
It looks surprisingly good, but what are your final opinions on sharpness and bokeh wide open compared with Nikon's?
Sharpness is very good at the center when at 1.8 and the bokeh is so nice. Very similar to the nikon lens
@@photorabz Thank you!
@@Comalv you are welcome🙏
It surprises me
It has become my go to lens when i am doing portraits

That was a good break down. Your Aliexpress link is broken.
Thank you
I adjusted the link
I like the look of the Yongnuo as its much lighter and cheaper. I hope it will be a reliable lens.
So far it is reliable. I am testing their new 50 mm f1.8 and it is soo good too
