You can tell he's had media training and is getting better but he's not yet ready to carry a pre-fight special. Shit happens and sometimes a fighter will miss weight, but Davis has missed weight numerous times for somebody who "really works hard" as the OP said. Davis is moving up to JWW to fight Barrios which will probably help him make weight more comfortably..... but lets be real here he is ducking his mandatories as well as Lopez, Loma, and all the other killers at LW to fight a paper champ. Davis is easily one of the most protected fighters in the game.
Leo only loss is against frampton, yet he avenge his loss convincingly. He adapted and overcame the loss. That's a true champ. He has chin, heart, IQ, stamina. Davis better be ready
