Some people have knee and or back issues. Though standard gives you the most control of the vehicle engaging the clutch will be a major issue if you have those issues I mentioned. I personally like the clutch and base model stuff. However when getting g back and knee issues I got to th8nk about the technology that best assists me. So stuff like blind zone alert lumbar support and automatic break assist is a blessing. Then if you have shoulder and or neck issues the blind zone, lane centering, and ot telescoping steering wheel really helps out. Technically it depends wear the tear is. When its 3 to 5 o clock having the steering wheel lower helps out a lot when your good hamd get tired. Lumbar support does wonders when you have back issues. It makes it so your back don't hurt as much while driving. Keep in mind if you have right knee issues try to avoid traffic. Breaking is going to be your worst nightmare. Especially in bumper to bumper traffic.
@@paulfeasal6024 Regarding body deterioration issues. Yes we do. I also drive an automatic for daily use. My one manual transmission car is only used sporadically when the weather and body allow. Not to mention getting in and more importantly getting out of lower cars. I understand what you say all too well.
@@notforgotten3685 a Miata is all about handling and driving experience. The automatic takes away half of the cars purpose. It has no power so there’s no reason for the quicker shifts of the auto. Manual is always the way to go on Miata
If they were able to sell MGs and Sunbeams with automatics back in the 60’s and 70’s they can sell Matias in the 20’s.
