  • Following the election victory of United States President-elect Donald Trump, the Philippines' ambassador to the country Jose Manuel Romualdez advised the 250,000 to 300,000 illegal Filipino immigrants in the US to leave voluntarily to avoid being blacklisted.
"My advice to them is to immediately leave voluntarily because once you are deported you can never come back to the United States," Romualdez said in a forum of the Foreign Correspondents Association of the Philippines on Friday (November 8). - Report from Victoria Tulad, ABS-CBN News

Eto lang masasabi ko. If you decide to stay past the date your visa expires or came to a country without any proper documentation, you are fully aware of the the risk you are taking. It makes you vulnerable to changes in policies of the host countries you are in. Pasyensya na sa mga TNT kung matamaan kayo ng mga bagong policies ng bagong administration dahil alanganin ang status ninyo. Do what you have to do to survive and good luck!

In case the concerned TNTs are waiting for the decision from ICS to give pardon for over-staying, I think they can wait for that decision. For the TNTs that didn't apply for pardon and those who applied for pardon but were rejected, it is best that they should leave the US and return to PH before being deported.

you did not know that they can work by getting a W-9 form that they can use for IRS purposes, Many places hire illegal immigrants using only W-9 to report social security taxes and federal taxes that being deducted from their paycheck. also student visa can apply to for work permit . To get a work permit in the US, a student visa holder can apply for an Employment Authorization Document (EAD) through the following steps:
      1. Get a Form I-20
Have your Designated School Official (DSO) update your Form I-20, "Certificate of Eligibility for Nonimmigrant Status".
      2. File a Form I-765
Within 30 days of receiving the updated Form I-20, file a Form I-765, "Application for Employment Authorization," with USCIS.
      3. Pay fees and submit documents
Pay the required fees and submit the supporting documentation listed on the Form I-765.
      On-campus employment
Students can work up to 20 hours per week while school is in session and full-time during breaks. To get an on-campus job, students should apply up to 30 days before classes start.
      Curricular Practical Training (CPT)
CPT is an alternative work or study option that's directly related to a student's major. Students must have completed their first year of academic studies to be eligible for CPT.

You are partially correct. Trump intends to start the mass deportation process going after those people who have committed crimes or have simply been arrested. But you are incorrect in saying "he will JUST deport those with criminal records and violations, and those without jobs."
At the MINIMUM Trump intends to deport all Hispanics and Latinos who are in the U.S. illegally. His Border Czar (Tom Homan) said the Mexican illegals (that's what he calls them) total far more than the estimate 12 million; he said in the same sentence that the 11-12 million figure is very low; he believes the total all illegals is at least 20 million (estimates by the experts who deal with this subject say the total number of undocumented in the U.S. (from all nations) is 25+ million.

Filipinos are also intelligent, hard working and caring. The Philippines have abundance of natural resources. GDP of Japan $4 Trillion with 123 million people, South Korea $1.75 Trillion with 51 million people, Taiwan $800 Billion with 24 million people, Malaysia $445 Billion with 34 million people and THEN the Philippines $471 Billion with 117 million people as many as Japan.

Smart guy! Sanctuary cities are soft on crime like DC so no worries. Follow traffic laws and move to a sanctuary city. I know they have expensive rents but thats what happens when so many flood sanctuary cities. If you have a greencard get your Citizenship test NOW.

    • @Moss_piglets
      @Moss_piglets 24 дня назад

Read Title 8 USC 1324 (1) (A) Sanctuary cities are constitutional. And ironically, conservative Justice Antonin Scalia wrote the Supreme Court opinion that supports their position. The federal government cannot put an end to sanctuary cities. The federal government cannot force state or local law enforcement to enforce federal law. That would violate the 10th Amendment. All cooperation from state and local law enforcement has to be voluntary.
Regulating immigration is a power that the federal government claims exclusively for itself, states can’t do it themselves, just like states can’t print their own money or mint coins. Jan Brewer found that out when the Court struck down Arizona’s law. The only thing they left of it was the requirement for employers to use E-Verify. Since regulating immigration is exclusively the domain of the federal government, enforcing those laws is solely their responsibility. The 10th Amendment works both ways.
So cities don’t have to spend their law enforcement budgets doing the federal government’s job for them. They’ve just chosen to spend it the way they are supposed to, enforcing state law and local ordinances.
