- Titles read: 'EXTRA!'. (Jumbo Jet in Seattle.)
Seattle, United States of America.
M/Ss of a 747 aeroplane (Pan Am) flying through the clouds - looks like a model rather than air to air shots of the real thing.
Several shots of a 747 Jumbo Jet being made in a massive aircraft hangar. Good shots of plane under construction. Dark shots show the inside of the cabin with passenger seats in place. M/S of catering area. A man walks down spiral staircase from the upper deck to the lower.
Several shots of an airplane moving out of a hangar and onto the tarmac, being towed by a small vehicle. Ground crew in boiler suits labelled 'Boeing' check over the plane. L/S of the plane; pan right to show 707 jet liner beside it. A little boy stands with his mother looking at the plane - he holds a model 747 plane under his arm.
Several cars drive under the main body of the Jumbo Jet to show the enormous size of it. A lorry is driven under the wing of the plane. Aerial view of a Jumbo Jet on the tarmac.

It was so special to be a Pan Am stewardess on those 747’s!
Absolutely magnificent! And look at the great views of the Queen when she was in her infancy--such as the enormous trailing edge, tripled slotted in-board Fowler flaps which are a work of art meeting tech :-) . Off-putting that such a superb, rare and valuable video has received only 69,000 views in 8 years on YT. Thank you Pathe--your name has a much longer legacy and wonderful history than the even our beloved Jumbo Jet.
You must've been watching the wrong clip, I didnt spot the queen once🤣
@@billsmith281 I would never comment on THE Queen's trailing edge... ;-))
Flew on a Pan Am 747 (China Clipper) from Los Angeles to London back in 1982. Long but comfortable flight…gonna miss these big birds!
Rip 747
Last one came off the production line 😢
I found out that this particular PAN-AM was the one destroyed in Tenerife 1977.
Yes, it was clipper victor. The first 747 delivered.
@@PhilTgaming11it was the 11th one the first one is in a museum
Just a beautiful aircraft from the days aircraft were unique in design unlike now with an engine under each wing and all looking alike
Такого больше не будет 😔 747 лучший 🇺🇸
mindboggling that we still fly those old planes from 60 years ago. in comparison the computer technology has gone through immense progress, from stone age to scif fi. we need more competition in aviation industry. the duopoly is hindering progress.
WOW

No ha cambiado mucho desde el primer diseño

The pathe style seems far too old for the cutting edge 747
