So, I also have this issue. And I've noticed, since I'm a dancer, that it happens mostly when I've had a series of performances or have exhausted my body from dance and gym. It's gotten so severe that both legs (including hips, quads. Hamstrings) have all cramped at the same time. I think a combo of rest, regular massage (or whatever modality helps your muscles release) in order to prevent the cramps.
