You are welcome! I just made a new video covering the pros and cons of living in Lethbridge if you are interested. ruclips.net/video/n88WOlZ3BcM/видео.html
Lot gonna lie public transportation is pretty lacking. The problem is that we don’t have a lot of people that use it and because no one uses it it’s not built out as good as it could be. You can get anywhere in the city but it might take a bit.
Yeah Taber is about 40 minute drive from Lethbridge. Their houses are slightly more affordable than Lethbridge. What is it specifically you would like to know?
Hello Murray thank you for this amazing video. We want to come with my wife to Lethbridge from Turkey. My wife is looking school in Lethbridge. Do you think i can find a job related with business or finance in Lethbridge?
Thanks! That is awesome. I am sure your wife will be able to find something here in Lethbridge. If not in Lethbridge there are many companies that hire people to work remotely from home so that could be an option as well.
It looks like a nice city really. How come it said that it is the city in Canada with the highest crime rate. Please explain. Im looking to try living there. And how is it living there without a vehicle? Not so convenient? Thanks
Crime rate is not so bad and has decreased 19% since 2019 and we are actually the safest city in western Canada according to a new report. ruclips.net/user/shorts9OQ81j7ecYc?feature=share I’ve personally never lived here without a vehicle but I know people that manage. You can look up how long the commute to different areas on google maps.
It might have a higher crime rate according to some stats but that doesn't mean it's rampant with crime. The "highest" crime rate city in Calgary is still miles ahead of most of the "best" crime cities in other countries.
Hey unfortunately I don’t do rentals. I would look on google for rentals in Lethbridge or there are many Facebook groups/fb marketplace where people post rental properties.
2 hour drive from Calgary is pretty damn close! In Calgary your average commute is 30 minutes one way! With all the time you save by living in a smaller city like Lethbridge you could drive to Calgary every other weekend and still spend less of your time sitting in your car.
@@LivingInLethbridge I get what you mean but I said "actual big cities." Calgary is large in size but has a really small population for anyone who is specifically looking for an actual "big city." If you're used to living in Toronto (over 2 million people), New York (over 8 million people), Shanghai (20 million people), or Tokyo (almost 40 million people), Calgary's 1.6 million will not be the place for you. Yes Calgary's population is "big" for Canada, but when I meant "actual big city," I meant on more of a global scale. Anyone well-traveled in big cities will notice how empty Calgary is, especially after 6pm. Additionally, I would argue that a LOT of time is spent in cars in Calgary.
Could you please tell me if there is any convenience store selling there now? I would like to immigrate to Lethbridge from China by investment. I might look for a house from you when I arrived in Lethbridge.
@@wanderingcompass5266 I’m so sorry for that. China has 1400,000,000 people. Not everyone is so bad like what you said. I am a Chinese who would like to integrate into Canadian culture. Some times, I also hate my countrymen who sucks overseas.
There is a new foreign buyer ban in Canada but there is a lot of exceptions. I might look closer into it in a future video. You would need a temporary work permit first before being able to buy a house.
Maybe I should move there
Give me a call when you are ready to move!
Tanks for the video!!

you didn't talk about the wind and protorty taxes
How long are the winters
Thanks for a nice video. Amazing, cozy city with wonderful landscape. What about the public transportation?

Lethbridge is barely even a city. And not close to any actual big cities either.

Oh no! You Chinese people are the reason why the cost of housing in Vancouver or all over Canada are sky rocketing. Your House flipping tactics sucks!
