I don’t think Jimmy himself is the problem. American TV is extremely censored and “family friendly,” therefore the FCC has very strict regulations on every broadcast. Look at any American talk show (day or night) and every slur or profanity automatically gets blipped.

Cate is the best late night talk show guest ever. No airs, no pressure, just wants to talk fluffy silly stuff and then pimp a bit of the project later. Just muck around and have a great time : )

It's deeply weird, hugely annoying, somewhat disrespectful and must be creepy and maddening to the guests. Do they not have producers who can train him to be even just 50% less annoying? Or do they actually think his behaviour is within the bounds of acceptable personality traits?
