Do either of these players display ALBUM ART in a search mode (like seeing visual chicklets of cover art on a grid you scroll) or do they only display the file folder icons? Thanks.
Right, I saw that in the manual online, however only as very small icons within folders still in a LIST format... is there a album cover search mode that fills the screen like a grid of just covers?@@eldenreviews
I bought this unit recently but my experience has been very frustrating. The pack would not slide out of the sleeve, and to get it out I almost had to destroy the cardboard. It looks good, and is nicely made but installing songs and album folders was unexplained and took ages to get anything to work. After two days of use I updated the firmware, result was nothing visible in the folders option. However they read ok in my MacBook. I cannot solve this, the help is unresponsive too despite 3 attempts. My screen does not respond instantly like in the video, but has a noticeable lag time. So, all said I’m not happy and think maybe I have been unlucky and received a faulty unit. Your video has been helpful though and is convincing me this unit is faulty. Thanks.
same experience. this was literally the same experience I had with the F28. except for mine being faulty. the F28 is a great sounding player but the UI needs work. a lot of work
@@eldenreviews thanks for checking! (disappointing that they wouldn't use a slightly more appropriate alphebetization library. I think I'd still be using my fiio x5-II if half the bands weren't under 'T')
Well in actual fact it, When I looked it was filtering alphabetically by song title. You can probably change this will have to look later@@petehurd5301
@eldenreviews I did. I'm happy with it. I had a Sony walkman and a mechen m30 but both of those always needed to create a data base every time I turned them on. The f28 I don't need to.
Can they play songs on shuffle?

Hello, yes both have album art, if you have the image in the folder

Sorry to hear that, have you contacted the seller as maybe you can swap it over?
@@eldenreviews I have a replacement now, it’s been fine, so the first one was definitely faulty

Q: how does alphebetization work? Eg, does 'The Clash' appear under C or T in when listing by artist?
Sorry for the late reply I had to check, it alphabetical so The Clash would be in the T's

Do head phone or ear bud touch controls work with this ?
Sorry for the late reply, I had to check with Surfans - no they will not do this.
@@eldenreviews thanks. I have already purchased the Hiby r3 gen 2
I have a fiio m3 pro. Is Surfans f28 better on iems?
Would have to get my hands on the one you have to tell you.
Can either of them be control from the car radio using the USB
Price alone puts me off the 35 It looks lovely and like something I’d perfer but with how big the jump in price is I cant justify
They are both nice, I prefer the size of the F28 personally
Theres a massive difference in price. The f28 is $260aud and the f35 is $600+aud..
I believe that is because the f35 has to ship from international. If you are in AUS I would definitely grab the F28 at those price gaps.

F-35 has been discontinued now.
Can I ask where you heard that please. I am in contact with Surfans directly and they have not advised me of this. Be good to know your source?
Well I have the F28 I'm not that impressed with it MP3 player no high rez at all. I have some cheaper MP3 players that sound better in my opinion.
