Wow. So if Microsoft flight simulator has been out for 40 years, it's been around for 33% of the history of aviation since the Wright brothers took off. Pretty incredible to think about, really. We are living in the future, no doubt about that.

you are misinformed about the wright flyer. it did not need a catapult to fly. it was only used to make the takeoff run shorter. also the engine was more like 16hp (for a limited amount of time) but 12hp continuous.
