From what I've heard from many dozens of people who have worked with him in the film industry, he's one of the most loved and most down to earth people you could ever meet. Truly a kind, and friendly person who is so approachable to anyone. In this industry its easy to find celebs who are nice in front of the camera but selfish and uncaring when its not rolling, but not Routh, he's the genuine article of an all around nice guy to everyone.

Brandon routh definately has improved his action chops. Superman returns had not been his fault it had been the decision makers behind the scenes. Clearly it needed to be decided early on to reboot the character and let the chris reeves superman be its own thing. Brandon routh is a marvelous human being that had been given a raw deal.
He was actively told to play it exactly like Reeves Superman, which he did a good job at... But he wasn't playing Superman... He was playing Christopher Reeve playing Superman.

All the actors who have played Superman did the best for their time. I love Brandon and I think he's a great man and actor. I love him as the Atom/Ray Palmer on Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow. With that being said, he was great on Superman Returns but the movie wasn't all that great. That's not his fault. Personally, I loved Man of Steel better and Henry Cavill is the best Superman in my opinion.
