I found a copy of the book at a thrift store recently for $2.50. You'd have thought I won the lottery I was so excited. The book is just gorgeous. As much as I like the look of it in journals I doubt I'll be able to cut it up. Maybe I'll find another copy one day. 😏😄

I just bought TWO at our local small city book sale for $4.50 each! At that price I thought I could cut up one and save the other. Now I can't get myself to do it!!! So, at $.70/each I may just do color copies and go from there. But that would come to $35! Oh, bother! (The machine I use can copy double pages.) I was SO happy with these purchases I almost peed my pants.
I feel your pain Adie! If those books are ones you will get out and enjoy from time to time, then by all means keep them whole. I knew that this book was one that I had stored away and hadn't looked at it since. So by me giving it a new life, I know it will be something that will be loved (cover and pages). I will say that once you deconstruct one, the others get much easier. Thanks for your comment! XX

WHat kind of tape did you use??
Hi Nancy! I used Gaffers tape. It is a heavy duty flexible tape that is often used in book repair. 🤗
