Scotland - Part 5. Portree to Ullapool

With our time on the Isle of Skye at an end, we're back onto the North Coast 500 and headed for Ullapool via the famous Bealach na Bà mountain pass with a bonus lunch stop added in!

very nice ... I plan to drive the applecross pass in later this year .. what speed do you do there? probably very slow?

It’ll vary based on what the weather’s like, how heavy the traffic is, how much scenery you want to take in, your comfort level etc. The road condition was generally pretty good but that can be a factor also…
