    I think some curved needles might help a lot in the difficult to access spaces :)

    Q-tip? I thought they were called “cotton buds.” I think the former is the American designation and the latter, British.

    Actually, you should follow original holes to attach the top cover to the rest of the case. Those are the same holes used to attach the bottom to the side parts. Someone who did the repair in the past obviously didn't know it and applied a brute force method to get through a thick layer of cardboard. That wasn't necessary.
