I love your videos because they are detailed and filmed on stock vehicles like most people have . You don’t go wild into mods or recommending thousand dollar parts . This is coming from someone whose Cherokee has over $15000 in mods btw . Keep up the videos because I see it growing a lot . Bleeping jeep and other jeep channels have gone off the rails and can’t no longer relate to the common man . Everyone seems to forget that it was stock vehicles with winches and some KCs that conquered almost all the trails and terrain we know of today .
Pink plugs can happen in one cylinder (porcelain or ceramic glazing) is the main cause of it. Most of the time it's an air flow problem. That is a beast to figure out. Glad you got it running as well as you did.
Perhaps cylinder 2's intake valve has a ton of carbon on it or something. Maybe something got into the manifold I was unable to look inside it when I did the gasket unfortunately
@@WAEMIDIV If you get time try a spray bottle of soapy water around #2 intake and exhaust. If you don't see anything then chances are it's internal. That can be carbon or a cam lobe wore down just to name a few. Was a teen when this jeep came out and worked on the 2.5 and 4.0 for years. Hope this helps
@@WAEMIDIV Yeah I bought it as a second vehicle and fixed the 4wd and learned manual on it. Drove it about everyday for a whole summer then it sat for the winter and then Kyle bought it.
@clinthering9695 Yes I found the successful CAD axle bypass, good work. 4x4 still works damn good. It's gonna snap in half before too long, so it's just a beater
Put a head gasket on it..pink spark plug could be a small amount of coolant leaking into the cylinder..Even with the compression being good it might only leak when totally warm.I would love to find that same truck
