Re your 35-100 comment. I was so impressed by its sharpness too. Great build quality and just love internal zooming. Much less obvious in public. The equivalent in FF is just so much bigger and heavier.
Another great, cheaper alternative super-zoom lens is the Panasonic Lumix 100-300 f4-5.6 mkii. It takes great photos and offers amazing compression to offset the slowish aperture.
Hi Grant, Leica 12-60 2.8-4.0 is better quality built lens than Panasonic version 3.5-5.6, but optically the difference is negligible. Leica's 2.8 aperture is available at 12mm only, at 13mm your aperture is already 2.9 and it gets darker from there. I think, it is not worthy to upgrade from Panasonic version to Leica version. It is wiser to spend saved money on good quality prime lens.

Yes Great Lens - With Awesome Compression :) Good One!!!
Great video! Where can I find the other parts of this series? Looking for a good prime for product photography and people portraits.
Either the 25mm f1.7 or The 25mm f1.4
Can you demonstrate how to zoom in and out with the G85? Which buttons do you use?
