    Hromek is a great guy! He's one of the few that put up with me in the early 90's. He was always nice to me when he didn't have to be. Him and Steelsmith were just different. I'd add Dan Dyck and Kloempken to that list. Miss being around those guys, they just made you feel like you belonged, when you didn't!

I got to coach my son jerod in high school and had a front row seat to watch him win the state championship twice as an individual. I also got to coach my other son Matt in basketball, that kid can shoot the ball! I wouldn’t trade anything for those memories! That was awesome seeing Justin rolling the rock. Still throwing wood with that high tilt roll and acute pocket entry angle, Loved watching him on TV. I think he caught one of the worst breaks in bowling at Masters qualifying for top 64. May have been in Reno at the stadium. He flushed one in the tenth which would have put him in the cut and one of the pins laying on the deck stood back up. It was awhile back, so not sure my memory is accurate on place and tourney.

    • @justinhromek73
      @justinhromek73 Год назад +1

      Yep! It was in the winners bracket against Mika K. The ten pin slid to the 9 pin spot and hit the ball as it went off the lane and just froze it in its place. Easily the worst break I’ve ever had, I’ve still never seen anything quite like that hit

      Thank you! Yeah i liked bowling the pro ams and meeting people. The shoulder injury was my roommate Rick Steelsmith. I quit in 2004, my boys were 2 and 6 and it was getting hard to be gone for weeks at a time

      @@justinhromek73 Sorry for the poor memory of mine! Love both your game and Rick Steelsmith's game. No need to reply but the bygone era of the PBA tour was special.
