Bro....you are now my idol when it comes to prospecting 🙌🏼. I caught the fever 4 months ago and started panning my local creek, to chasing quartz outcropings with oxidized minerals, and now im onto ancient gravel beds. Thing is, ive been going about it alone since day one just watching over informative vids on youtube and local mining reports (no clue) and my fever is starting to break now. The work I put in just isnt worth it....so I thought. Until I watched ur vid's and you not only explained the situations well, you also show just exactly how hard you wanna throw a pick into a creek bed and the true amount of work it takes. 👌🏼 glad I found ur channel bro, thank you! Youre sach is rad!

awesome finds always informative . Update to my gold recovery efforts i have classified from rocks by using standard classifier and pan underneath. The bigger rocks put into a bucket to have the GM1000 run over see if we missed anything. Also ran through a colander into a sieve to classify down and placed into a different bucket to pan down another time. Probably could have done the GM1000 but have to come off meds for surgery during this week so i stopped as my head was not in the game . The same could be said for the 1/4 bucket of cons but i do not trust my panning skill or sluicing ability just yet. I will wait till have meet up with a few people and worked on my skills so i am confident i am not blowing out some good gold. That probably happen till the new year as my xmas gift is two stints in hospital before xmas.

      Nope.
First stratification sinks the gold to the very bottom. It also layersit from heaviest to lightest.
This layering puts a thick layer of heavies on top of the gold.
Those heavies protect the gold while the lighter stuff is removed.
