I had a co-worker get into a car accident. She came back to work a few days later and worked for a month. One day when we were closing our store, I asked her if she was ok. I didn’t think much of it but I never said anything like that to anyone. Later that night, she passed away in her sleep. She was around 40 years old. It was such a shock to the company. Such a nice lady.

He was a Marine and the recent 249th birthday of the Marine Corps was bittersweet. It’s so hard to lose a mentor and good friend, especially when they are a co-worker. I love you and I miss you, brother. Rest well.
Losing a co-worker can really suck. A few years ago we all broke for Christmas and New Years. When we got back to work we all found out that one of our co-workers, a friend, killed himself on Christmas Day. He was going through a messy divorce and had found out that he lost custody of his kids. To say it was a sad time doesn't really cover it.
