This lady is not explaining it correctly. Don’t listen to hear. The girl in Acts chapter 16 had a familiar spirit until Paul cast it out of her. If I had not read the Word, then I would believe her gobbledygook 🤪. She is right that sexual immorality has serious consequences and it does need to be repented of. But there’s too much emphasis on “soul ties” and spiritism” in the charismatic movement and not enough emphasis on knowing the word. If more people knew the word they wouldn’t fall for all these craziness.

It makes sense, the familiar spirit thing, but what about the scenario of a single person and dealing with loneliness when you shouldnt still be single at 32? We were designed to be in relationships. We were given wombs for a reason. So if the familiar spirit is a sexual one, it can only be properly resolved by changing the situation, which would be to finally have a husband. But life doesnt work that way. Some women don't ever get married even though they want to . Im just tired of going around in circles. Circles of repentance, loneliness and grief. Theres no freedom in sexual sin, but there's no freedom in loneliness either.
I agree sexual sin is actually deadly though. Ive had terrible experiences with my ex. But I cant even move forward because my ex is at church. So I feel trapped. And its made me trapped in the grief I have over him, while hes doing well and moving on.

Soul ties are not made only by sexual relationships. Soul ties can be formed in co-dependent relationships also.

Dear Becky - Sooooo grateful for your teaching on familiar spirits. I have been sick for a long time then I heard you talk on familiar spirits and so much of it rang true for me, such as always talking about my illness, planning my life around my sickness, etc. I went through the process of repenting and denouncing having a familiar spirit and letting it rule my life over the Word of God. I am now set free and my healing is coming quickly. I am excited about it and so very very grateful for your empowering speech. If I hadn’t heard it, I would still be bound today. Now mind you, this was only a week, week and a half ago and I am recovering very nicely!!!! @@chasehim3761 I took notes of what she was teaching, and compaired them to what was occuring in my life. I was diagnosed with full blown bone cancer in December of 2020. I was told that I would not live for more than 6 months, even with treatment. After a person has viewed the detailed MRI's showing the spread of the disease in your body, and no longer have energy and live 24/7 in pain, that at times seems unbearable, it is hard to not think about it constantly. I realized that from dealing with this same issue once before, that I decided to fight it once again. I believe healing starts in the mind with the thoughts that we choose to feed. So I do my best to starve the negative thoughts, and replace them with the Word of God." I have learned that I needed to take authority over demonic activity that I encounter. I am still in the learning process, and I am still here due to the Grace and Mercy of God. Next month I will turn 81 years old.

I know Christians who have not "dethroned God", but they are still suffering in their bodies. Sometimes they don't watch their words, and that may be part of the issue. Christians can struggle with fear, anger, rebellion, victim... because of how their parents treated them and these emotional bondage demons can even cause sickness.
