I know it’s late and you won’t see this but I finally have time to catch up on your videos. Haven’t had service, been camping from NY and arrived in CA a week ago.
It’s so cool seeing this video, I hit Badlands at about the same time as you. I’m on this road trip with my first pup who’s now 1.5 years old. I always wanted to show him the world and you and camper are a big motivation for actually making it a reality.
Pretty happy to see that coincidently we made similar stops. I went to SD, MT, WY, Tahoe and now Stockton. Utah, CO, WY on the way back with Michigan being the last stop before home. Inspiration based off of your recent videos.
Hope you and camper continue to have a blessed future! I’m hoping everything works out and one day soon I can also provide my pup the life he deserves, on the road! He’s such a different dog when enjoying the outdoors and never lets me out of his sight. Working hard to figure out how I can make our future a reality. Thank you for the constant inspiration.

Great episode, Nikki! These are a few is my favorite things…South Dakota, Wall Drug, Badlands, Custer State Park, Toyota Tacoma, Four Wheel Camper, Camper, and of course, Nikki. I look forward to seeing you document your travels for an extended period in this combo. Yes, it will increase your fuel costs, but the comfort and places you’ll be able to go with this will be amazing!
Nikki when you first tested it and told us you would be able to borrow it for a few months, I mockingly called this ride "monster truck". Yet, since then, I could not stop thinking about how insanely cool it actually looked and how much it suits your needs. I'm happy to see you figured the climate control out so that Camper will be save no matter the heat.
Spoiler Alert: Best part about this one is I went with a smaller Tacoma truck so it’s not sooooo monstrous hehehe

I still wonder what you'll eventually settle on for your new home. That part about having power to run AC's even when the vehicle is turned off is so appealing and I see most hybrids have that capability from the large main batteries. Hopefully you'll take advantage of the higher ground clearance and capabilities of that truck while you have it although seeing a prius drive down some of those dirt roads was amusing. I've driven across the country and camped the entire time more than once and always believed in using what you have and make it work. We took a 79 Trans am once with a car topper. Later I owned trucks but you've shown that travel can work regardless of your vehicle. As always safe travels and love your channel.
Awesome upgrade. That’ll be nice on some of those unmaintained back roads you tend to take …. And when you need to be more discreet when sleeping, you can leave the pop up portion down and still fit inside 👍🏽

I’m glad you partnered with them.. I’ve always wondered about the use and functionality of these and they are near me, I’ve got a 1976 SIXPAC and want to completely rebuild it but … it’s 1976, great year but last winter, even after the MaxxAir fan installed I had a musty smell and noted a leak, so I resealed the escape hatch and front window now has obvious moisture issues and the jacks started failing so yeah maybe a pop up from Four Wheel … can’t wait for updates
One of the best times in my life was when I lived in my Ford Focus for 3 months and traveled throughout upstate New York but mostly stayed in the Finger Lakes as I was still working a Full Time Job at a ceramics manufacturer as a production supervisor/manager. The adventures were so amazing and stories that I could tell kept my staff intrigued and asking for updates every Monday morning. Wish I could have done it longer but finally moved into an apartment in Union Springs NY as winter approached. Greatest areas were Ithaca, Watkins Glenn, Oswego, Old Forge, Seneca Falls(It's a Wonderful Life inspiration) Geneva, Aurora, Auburn ect..so many fun and cool places! Truck stops, State parks and generals woods camping. My personal Huckleberry Finn experiences. Love the memories created!
congratulations. Those memories will be a great help in keeping your head screwed on straight over the decades of "adulting" that life brings. I really don't know how those who go straight from school to adulthood make it to 60 alive and nominally sane. see you at the campfire some day.

In a perfect world, that is great setup. I really enjoy Nikki’s videos, so I’m excited to see where her new adventures now take her. So keep on trucking girlie.
There’s only one down side, and it’s why I still stick with my minivan buildout. My neighbor has a similar combo that he loves, but with a new Ford, so I know that rig and 4WC costs $100k or more. His big complaint though is the fuel costs. Hope that doesn’t come as too big a shock after that thrifty hybrid Toyota.
Franzoidle, yes, the fuel mileage will be horrible and highly expensive. IMHO, she'd be better off with an AWD Ford Transit van.
Was wondering if I’d see a post about this. Cool new set up but the difference in cost of traveling in a Prius vs this new one I think might be quite a challenge.
I wonder about all those many folks out there “van-life-ing” and having to deal with gas prices.

I see many girls on RUclips using their attributes to squeeze money out of people. But, this girl feels genuine and kind hearted. I'm happy to see her grow.
Yeah. I wish those women wouldn’t sexualize their bodies so much. They can’t do whatever. Don’t get me wrong! It just pushes the boundaries for women who truly just wants comfort and mobility. I’ve never felt like Nikki is exploiting her femininity to make cash.
