Sad to see his rally ended like this but cmon guys, what matters the most is everyone is safe. We just lost Craig we don't need to lose another one in the same week.
That is always the case though, so no need to bring this up just because we lost Craig.

😊😊
Pp
he schould have kept it on the road en then he could still drive not that fast but if he just try to finishe the stages that where left he wouldnt have fallen that deed down
I dont think people understand how hard it is to upload videos this fast especially in that part of the country where internet and phone signal coverage are absolute garbage.
The job you are doing is out of this world, thank you for that and i wish you the best of luck.
Wtf u talking about, Croatia has one of the best mobile internet in the world, 114Mbps on average...
Wow that’s very kind! Yes there are many challenges including signal, but we make sure we always get you the news as fast as possible! 👊
@@jdalbion it doesnt
@@Salamar-tk6xr It does. Google.
Those blaming Neuville, try doing Rally at half the speed or even 1/3 of the speed and report back.
Small mistakes are inevitable, whether these mistakes lead to small or large damage is really down to luck and the surroundings.
All WRC drivers are heroes to me, only very very few can be racing at this event. This sport is just sooooo tough!!!
These small dangers alongside the road. It's somewhat similar to Craig's situation. A bit of skidding off the road, you encounter one of these (poles, sewers, wooden fences etc) and it's all over
it's Rally
Motta beat me to it, that's rallying. Simple as that.
Excellent coverage from Dirtfish as always
Love these timely, unscripted reports from the stages.
Olympus Rally 🇺🇸 this weekend on some of the same roads the WRC events were contested in the 1980s (in Dirtfish's backyard, too).
Thanks for allowing us to be in two places at once😉
Colin loves the word "brawler" almost as much as "jeopardy"
Those drivers are unbelievably talented. It's amazing those accidents don't happen more frequently given the commitment through the corners. Fine margins.
So unfortunate for Thierry, and he was going so well
It's always something with Neuville I swear, sad to see his rally ending this way
I honestly used to like Neuville but I just ran out of patience constantly watching him crash out of a good title campaign . Unfortunately, I think he'll never win a title at this rate unless he miraculously gets a car as far ahead of the field as the yaris and somehow stops crashing. If he couldn't beat ogier in '17 with the fastest and most reliable car in his hands, with ogier in a championship capable car that gave him his worst win rate (2, which speaks to ogier's abilities), then how can we expect him to take the fight to Toyota with this Hyundai.
Yup, last night I was thinking: ok, Neuville on 1st, let's see tomorrow on what stage of the rally he is going to retire
@@CalinFR Same, I wanted him to win for Breen but deep down i knew that he was gonna crash out.
@@UyandaMaboea-dv3qc saying that he’s unlikely to win a championship just because he couldn’t in 2017 implies that Thierry himself did not improve over the last 5 years and I think that’s unfair to the guy.
Same. I used to be excited for him and Hundai, especially concidering how the team has been doing compared to their first time in the WRC, but Neuville always has those moments and it's a bit frustrating. He's not a bad driver, by no means, but whenever he gets in the lead, I just try not to get my hopes up about him winning. Kind of similar to McRae in that regard.
best media coverage! Thank you Dirtfish!!
Damn I was rooting for him too.
Really great coverage! I always check here during a rally. Great stuff.
Exelente periodista..me gusta como reporta los hehos con esa calma y sabiduria exelente
Wonderful report 😉🙌👏✌️😉🙏
Brilliant journalism.
아.. 수리 잘해서 다시 달려봅시다~!누빌 화이팅!
Only just found this channel, brilliant insight and video
This crash is VERY similar to the very brief footage of Breen's accident. Right hand sweeper; Hyundai encounters some minimal loss of coefficient of friction (wet road Breen, dirt/gravel Neuville) ; tail comes out and hits left shoulder of road, complete loss of control and that's all she wrote.
Keep your head up Thierry 🤞🤞🤞
without a doubt a very treacherous rally with some mousetraps for the drivers.... let's wait until the end to see if any more drivers fall into the traps of the croatia rally, hug and great work behind the scenes.
Thierry seems like he was able to analyse and accept the events well. I hope to see a win in his future
Bad luck the drain was there or maybe good luck that he hit it, changed the direction of the car and prevented a bigger accident in the trees.
Glad all ok 👍
Hes alive. Stay safe. G. bless.
Thats our Croatian roads dudes every corner hiding some death threat plus 50 shades of gray asphalt 😂,good thing all are safe and sound gl next time man 💪
Why is he over? Cant he get another car, can someone explain me?
btw. having patience for interview in this situation, really good guy
It’s the rule, 1 driver 1 car throughout the event
He can drive tomorrow again, after the car is fixed, but in rally2 system, all he can gain is 5 points from power stage
Gotta get the car back to service if he want to run tomorrow.....
Sad. A real potential World Champion. I wish him future success!
Such a shame. Thierry and the rest of the team desperately wanted to win that for Craig.
Being a Neuville fan sucks. He always crumbles under pressure and makes dumb mistakes.
Rally drivers make plenty of dumb mistakes these years.Check with the 1980 drivers:cars that skid permanently then but drivers managed to keep them on tracks.Nowadays cars are like "rail track" but the drivers rely too much on the technology !
Will you come to Chile, Colin ? I would like to see you here in Concepción. Great job.
排水管があって良かったね!無ければねドライバー側から木にクラッシュしてたと思う❣助かったねヌ-ビル多分ブリーンが守ってくれたと……
Mi dispiace molto... sarà per il prossimo .... GRANDE PILOTA,E UOMO...🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹🤗
That's tough. 😮
Very unlucky. Neuville was doing a nice and secure lead. Carreras son Carreras Fangio words.
My friends and me on 4:19, 4:21, on right side, front of flag, us 4, me blue-black t shirt, front of Croatian flag hahaha 😊
👋 hello again!
Thiery, sorry for that early retirement buddy i know we had a mission to win for our departed pal BREEN..
That win for Breen, will come eventually.
Glad they're okay. But let's be fair, this happens too much with neuville. He's just not consistent at all.
Agreed!
Man handling that car... Only Colin. :)
Champions know.. Learn from them. You are a champion.
NASCAR thinks they have some drivers, they couldn’t hold these rally drivers a light
Conditions are so bad??? It is a dry bitumen road. Drive to stay on it. Look ahead
Exaccly:always same story-road was slippery???Or there was obstacles on the sideways....go sell hotdogs instead!
Sure, daily driver. But in the world of rally driving, that's a dry bitumen road that offers massive grip and on which one side of the car drives over, but the other side (the right-hand side) drives over the loose and slippery gravel and mud. There's for sure a disparity of grip levels at different sides of the car on every inch it moves over the road, which can cause it to behave in different ways and requiring different maneuvers to keep it on the road; yet the margins are minimal and it's a hard task to quickly read the car's physical state and deciding which maneuver to perform. Although this one really looked like he either just went too fast in or locked the wheels on the slippery side, killing the grip that would've kept him on the road. That's rally for you: pushing hard, and dealing with the car's behaviour. No such things on daily drives!
Every rally this year, any time they show a Hyundai i'm wondering if one of the drivers are going to crash out. Evans could have this championship just by driving sensible and picking up podiums.
The approach was good, but the amount of dirt on the road made the car skid
There is a reason Ogier wins.. Many times.
Maybe a storm drain but certainly not a 'sewer'.
Thank godness Thierry are still okay.
Bad luck .. I think the concrete drain saved the car from the tree
Thierry and bad lack 😢😢
Again ? C'mon ....
Nooooooooooooooooooo...😔😔😔😔😔😔😔
This is not bad luck. Safety precautions left the building in this rally stage.
Exactly the same cause of the accident as Lappi had last year. Organizers don't give a shit about these boulders
That's rally, imagine saying "why they don't take out all the Hilkenstein on the "Panzerplatte" stage in Germany" smh
Chef j ai glisse😢
Shame to have another crash in Croatia, he got track dirtiest so that's part of it
Neuville literally crashed for the first time in 8 months, why are these stupid haters whining again 😐
Cajoling and man handling? Come on man, give it a rest. It was being towed out by the flat bed
All this malake of slippery road please stop its ridiculous it is Rally by definition its suppose to be the way to handle different surface it is not F1 on slick tarmac, what a world we become if you look rally in the 80s they don't look for excuse they handle it.
lappi will win i hop
Good work mate hi my dear mate colin
we all want to find meaning in Craig's passing but this crash and this driver are not it. sorry to contradict you, Colin, but Neuville's crash is the furthest from "bad luck" and Neuville's demeanor is furthest from a "battler". also, there was absolutely no dirt where he went off. he lost his concentration, brake too late and he is just too weak a man to admit it.
Kenya 🇰🇪🇰🇪 awaits.
that commentator is bit ott lol
Next time you hoepfully win
no thierry
Never buy a hiundey.
man wtf
🙁
Sempre sfigato Therry😢😢
Stručnjaci xD
Wow... isn't this similar to Breens crash😏😟
Wrc return to argentina is more safer
SAFETY
Time to retire
Too much ambition not enough ability nothing to do with back luck
So you could do better?
Well, if that sewer wasn't there...
@@cogboy302 It doesnt matter if he could. Neuville gets both bad luck and manages to get himself in these situations. Its his own fault.
@@adjo6792 , well, you get yourself a seat driving a WRC car and you show us how brilliant you are.
I believe its really easy. You just walk up to any WRC team in their pits and ask them to give you a contract drive.
@@cogboy302 lmao that's such a childish point. Just because you're not a professional, doesn't mean you're not able to criticize someone. I never claimed i was better than Neuville. I will never be able to do a fraction of what he has done in his career. But it doesn't mean i should shut up just because I'm not as good lmao. I'm just making an observation and its just the truth. Grow up kid.
