This is really awesome ! Now all we need is 1981/83 versions of "Boing Boom Tschak", "The Telephone Call" and "Electric Café" to get a glimpse of what the original "Technopop" album would've sounded ! Really great work
I think you've travelled back to 1981 to make this live concept on the old Kling Klang Studio. Well done! Did you know that not only The Man Machine, but also Neon Lights was originally planned for The Mix? We already know how TMM '91 sounds like because it would sound almost exactly like the '93 version. Neon Lights would be interesting. The kick drum beat would be simillar as the one from TP '83, but without the 3rd kick drum note because this one overlaps with the snare beat that stays the same as the NL '78 one. The UK '91 version would have snare improvs like Radioactivity UK '91 and the pluck bass would be quantizised by Fernando. The late '91 version on the other hand would not have snare improvs because we know Fritz, but the pad improvisation however would be simillar to those from Computer Love Late '91 that have very high notes. Henning would play around with the cutout frequency of the pluck synth that covers the chords up and the pluck bass. Fernando's quantization of the pluck bass would be gone. That's how I imagine Neon Lights '91.
Thanks! I used the choir sound from the Vako Orchestron. There is a vst3 plugin featuring this sound. ruclips.net/video/kpARat4PdDc/видео.htmlsi=_OiGPxfP1QBwYX7H
I've been developing the skills of replicating sounds since a long time ago. Kraftwerk is one of the bands that I've been studying. By the way, I'm about to release a sound pack with some live presets, and a catalog of sounds. Stay tuned for more :)
Yes! 10 years before “The Mix” was released!
3:49 When Karl ends in the highest style.
It is like a fanfic, loved the concept. Let's expand the Kraftwerk universe! Congratulations for the creativity and the material.
Thank you!! 👍🏻

That sounds great! I'll try to work on it as soon as possible!
St1ngLER has already made a 1983-style version of “The Telephone Call”.

I love this concept, this translates perfectly well into 1981. Especially the jazz riff at the end. Great work
Thank you!! :)
this is interesting creation
well done!
日本語を入れているところも面白くて好きです!
Love the bass line!
Awesome rendition! I love it! 😄🎧🎶🙌
Thank you!
I have wanted this for so long! I always expected it to end like IMFTC, and it does! this is a glimpse into what the 1983 tour would've been like!
I'm glad you enjoyed it!
The part from 2:00 to 2:35 is so good with that techno pop melody. Absolutely amazing video and music! Keep up the good work COP!
Thank you!

623 - bellissima canzone - ciao da VALERIO !!!!!!!!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Man your work is awesome you def have to do computer world 2 and europe endless or kometnmelodie
Thank you!
Mid 70s style versions would be interested, as they would have sounded if it were composed between Autobahn, Radioactivity and Trans Europe Express
Great suggestion! I'll see how I can do that.
These songs wouldn't really work in the mid 70s (besides Space Lab). KW didn't really have a consistent style yet.

It’s always a shame to see YT channels without the subscriber count they deserve.
Also how was that effect at the end achieved where that arp goes grazy?
It's made by setting 2 LFOs. One for the gate and one for the pitch in the synthesizer.
I love the little MNS '90 bassline, and I love your Synth Trek Pack to bits; may I ask, what did you use to get the choir sound near the beginning?
Thanks! I used the choir sound from the Vako Orchestron. There is a vst3 plugin featuring this sound.

This is such a cool idea for a conzept
Thanks!
@@coptv really REALLY ENJOYED how you captured their live 1981 sound so accurately
Damn, where the hell did you get that bassline FROM? It's definitely not on the '86 album, and I don't think I've heard it played live?
It's an improvisation inspired by Karl's baseline in the song "Neon lights" played in the 1981 tour.
@@coptv omg that's totally what it is!! GOD that performance was so good
Do “The Man Machine” ‘81.
It's on the list 😁🎹
@@coptv Yes!
@@coptv can you do antenna 1981 style if possible?
@@SentaiWho Yes. That's possible to do someday. Thank you for the suggestion!
@@coptv yw!
