All pressure cookers can explode because explosion is generated from steam and all pressure cookers accumulate steam. This type have minimal chances of explosion because the pot has ears which guides one when tightening the lid.

Depending on the amount of beans make sure you add enough water when boiling.
Do not fill the pot with water as this will cause explosion.
Avoid adding any spice that THICKENS soup it will result to burning whatever you are cooking.
