I have the I3 version of this unit. The clip for the m2 SATA(!!) SSD is up on the edge of the motherboard in line with the M2 socket and the orange oval hole. In the factory location it clips over full length SSDs. The oval hole may be for moving the white plastic piece to hold half length drives. Note this is a SATA only machine. NVME SSDs will not work in it. I have upgraded the RAM and 2.5 in. SSD. I left the M2 slot for another drive later. It is very easy to work on the solid 2.5 inch connection avoids using a fragile ribbon cable, a weakness in other similar machines. the I3 has two cores and 4 threads. It feels a bit slower than similar machines with 4 real cores. It does RUclips videos fine. I used it to watch the video I used to upgrade the machine. Good work, thanks!

Hi Nev, is there any chance to connect an EGPU to this machine? Hope you have any advice about it, thanks.

I'm pretty sure you can use an external GPU with every desktop in existence, for the most part anyway.

You can also put in a standart m.2 ssd, there is a little plastic whole with a plastic thing that goes into it at the edge of the case (so basically that plastic hole and pin replace a hole and a screw)
