Like that sound of power from the overhead. You can hear the EMD's whine and the GE chug as they pass. We also get to see the business end of the tankers and grain cars. Very cool!
Thanks for the heads-up on St. Marys, WV and it's street runners. Heading home from my son's yesterday, while stopped at Fly, Ohio on Rt.7 to walk the dog I noticed a train across the river going toward St.Mary's. I shot down river and across the bridge and caught a 5 engine CSX mixed freight and only cost my trip 21 minutes according to the NAV. Those things look really, really big when you're sitting next to the tracks! 😁
Those UPers are a long way from home. Plus an NS and CSX on a manifest. Funny how the unplanned sometimes works out better than planned chases. Excellent catch. Merry Christmas to all!
That was a great video. It was cool to see a train from a different point of view. Brian, I hope you and your Family have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Keep the videos coming. Take Care.
Jatwooth, you've been one of the high lights of my year. I'm glad I ran across your channel. I've spent hours watching your videos. you are very entertaining. Your narration and subtitles and maps make the videos so great. Health and happiness to your family in the coming years and stay away from hornet's nests! Greg in TN
I know for one fact is that train has a lot of weight to have that many engines on it. Thats something you dont see if they running light loads. Thanks for sharing my friend.
Great video Jawtooth! Really cool seeing all the engine's from different lines in one lash up! Cool location and great catch! Thanks for sharing and Merry Christmas to you and your family!
Merry Christmas to all! I loved Atlanta! I hope you got to see Ebenezer Baptist Church! I hope to go back there some day. Took MARTA everywhere! Very cool city!
Merry Christmas to you and your family, Jaw Tooth. May next year be better than this year. Merry Christmas to all of Jaw Tooth's Subscribers and viewers. Mark from Melbourne Australia.
crazy that you shot UP in Atlanta; the furthest extent their track rights go east is usually eastern Wisconsin/Chicago down to New Orleans! also, sweet up-close on some EMD fans/turbos! i love Atlanta. fantastic city and great railfanning. cheers
I’ve seen UP and BNSF engines in the extreme northeast and southern parts of the country as railroads today are running originating power through to the final destination instead of cutting the engines lose once they reach the interchanging railroads territory. I can guarantee you that the UP engines in Atlanta were being operated by NS personnel
Leave it to you to make a video like thus!! You never caught a five loco train before, this is a huge freight!! Looks like the width of Texas!! Thanks jaw tooth,as always a great video, ten thumbs up,and have a great holiday!!
Looked like the last two were being moved into storage; the CSX lettering had been scored through and it looked as if the exhaust stack on NS 8039 was blanked off (and the cab AC unit had been removed)
nice video, in the beginning if you look closely at the CSX engine, it has a black stripe in the front logo and also through the side, so it’s possibly not there’s any longer. you rarely see CSX & NS power lashed together outside of the three mutually owned former Conrail areas that they couldn’t divide between them so they kept them open to both railroads
Have you been to Wyaconda, Missouri there are two bridges there east and west of the town. the east bridge is on the incline of a hill. Westbound trains give you a rush you won't forget and eastbound you get the trains using the hill to get speed back. The west bridge give you almost a 3 miles of visible sight seeing a westbound come over the hill while the eastbound climbs the hill. You should check it out.
Zack Johnson I’m not really a rail fan. I’m a retired Engineer off of the UP out of New Orleans. I use to work the Church Point Local out of Alexandria or Bunkie, when it was the Texas & Pacific and then the Missouri Pacific before the UP merger. Made quite a few stops in Ville Platte to eat lunch or supper at the Pig Stand. Do you know if the Pig Stand is still there?
That truck would make a great Railfan Camper. The Bird is the Word ,great catch .
Lots of fun I can see so far!!
Like that sound of power from the overhead. You can hear the EMD's whine and the GE chug as they pass. We also get to see the business end of the tankers and grain cars. Very cool!

T00T T00T, the Loco Driver was saying "JAW TOOT" hahahaha EMD out front; the way it should be.

Sounds like the Trifecta of Railroads. UP x 2, NS x 2 & CSX x 1. Roll the Dice, 🎲🎲 Please. 😬👍
I know for one fact is that train has a lot of weight to have that many engines on it. Thats something you dont see if they running light loads. Thanks for sharing my friend.

Merry Christmas J.T and family. And give those hounds a scratch behind the ear.
That's a nice view there. Just needed a BNSF loco as well
Good morning from St John Parish, Louisiana 24 Dec 20.
Evangeline parish here. Awesome to see more railfans from Louisiana

Zack Johnson MERRY CHRISTMAS.
Wow that's really cool actually and Merry Christmas to you as well. I've always wanted to be an engineer
Zack Johnson Did you ever apply to go to work for the railroad?
The CSX was bought by NS and is going to become NS. That's why it's in-between two NS.
Cool video son! 😎
The CSX loco was sold to NS apparently because it had a stripe through the CSX logo.
Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas Brian and family!
Happy new year and Merrry Christmas!
If you’re ever in the area again I could show you some spots that area pretty awesome
