It looks alright, nothing we haven't seen a thousand times already though. There's lots of them as well, the director must've been short on money so decided to make a failed cash grab. Looks like he made it in his back garden! Also, they can't be talking about sensitive subjects like the destruction of Alderaan in such a frank manner like this. Hundreds of innocent people died, and the director's trivialising that and using it to get him a quick buck. So, not only is this "Star Wars" thing so poorly made and uninspired, it's also extremely offensive! We need Disney to save us and make the CGI worse turning every character into a wooden Mary Sue. That will surely help...

Anonymous is one of my favorite movies. It was criticized in part because of the theory that Shakespeare did not write his own work, but I think it's a really great film. If you like historical drama, this is a great exploration of how art can have an immense social impact.

I personally didn’t love The Rocketeer (1991) when I saw it at home. I do remember the big marketing campaign it had. It came out the same summer as Sean Chandler’s all-time favorite movie. Came out two weeks before T2, in fact. I don’t remember which movies I saw during the summer of 1991 but it wasn’t The Rocketeer or T2.
There were only four movies I remember seeing in the theaters in all of 1991 -
Robin Hood: The Prince of Thieves
    The Addams Family
TMNT II: The Secret of the Ooze
    Kindergarten Cop
My memory seeing Robin Hood: The Prince of Thieves in the theater is hazy and probably is at 50-50 but the other three I know for sure I saw in the theater. I saw Home Alone 1 & 2 and Addams Family 1 & 2 with my family in the theaters for sure. And then I saw other 1991 movies when they eventually came on HBO/Cinemax/Showtime/The Movie Channel when we had cable including Prince of Thieves on loop.
I remember a big marketing push for Dick Tracy (1990) and similar to The Rocketeer, I didn’t see that movie in the theater either. I eventually saw The Rocketeer at home and it didn’t feel all that memorable. I still don’t understand how the jetpack doesn’t burn his feet. I don’t remember the summer of 1991 all that much. I only remember maybe going to Vegas and staying at The Mirage.
I still owned only an NES. Didn’t get a Genesis until Feb 1992 and a Game Boy until Christmas 1991. I don’t think 1991 was all that memorable for me as a year. But I remember seeing so many movies in the summer of 1993. That was a fun year. I have clearer memories going to the theaters a lot from 1993 and upwards. Like I still remember my stomach hurting from the bellyache laughter There’s Something About Mary (1998) gave to me during that zipper scene.
I do remember 1991 was the start of me recording movies and TV shows using a VHS VCR. I do remember that. I recorded Back to the Future Part II on Showtime back in 1991. And I was very much into I Love Lucy, Gilligan’s Island, and Three’s Company on syndication. Then I’d watch Married…with Children on Fox every Sunday at 9 PM. Those four sitcoms still remain my all-time favorites. And I remember watching Saturday Morning cartoons and then Saved by the Bell and WWF wrestling after them back in 1991.
Just One of the Guys (1985) and Teen Witch (1989) used to come out a lot on cable. Two of my favorites from 1991 that came on HBO a lot were If Looks Could Kill with Richard Grieco and Don’t Tell Mom the Babysitter’s Dead. And no, I’m not watching the reboot of the latter. Damn, I miss being a kid. We had it good, Sean, in the early 90s. Prior to Bob Ross, my ASMR was listening to Doogie Howser type his journal on a computer.
The best hip hop, R&B, and house music came in the early 90s. “Rhythm is a Dancer” by Snap! still hits hard. My favorite Air Jordan are the VIIs released in 1992. Street Fighter II from 1991-1992 was all the rage in the arcades. While I didn’t love The Rocketeer, I’m glad Sean brought it up. I enjoyed reminiscing what I experienced in the early 90s.

I usually go into movies or shows not knowing the reception and then surprised if it's smth that not ppl know or if it got negative reviews, also ones I feel should get more credit, here are a few, no particular order:
    10. The Wolverine(great film, but overshadowed by Logan)
    9. Ghost in the Shell 2017(I thought this was a good adaptation and just a great movie, I don't get the hate)
    8. Walking Dead S10(most stopped watching after S7 or 8, but I think they missed out on one of the best seasons)
    7. Rurouni Kenshin movies(best anime live action movies I've seen)
    6. Puss in Boots 1(definitely not as good as the 2nd, but I honestly liked this more than the first Shrek movie)
    5. Bad Times at the El Royale(massively overlooked film, top 3 favorites of 2018)
    4. Star Wars Rebels(I like this more than Clone Wars, but it's rarely talked about in the Star Wars community)
    3. Batman Returns(I loved that Tim Burton went all out with his creativity and I prefer this to 89 Batman easily)
    2. The Thing 2011(honestly a very enjoyable prequel/remake, it's definitely not as good or clever as the 1982 version, I mean that's a masterpiece so hard task, but it's not bad, other than the CGI)
    1. Doctor Sleep(a near perfect film IMO, great blend of Kubrick and Stephen King and a very satisfying sequel to the Shining)

Here are 5 movies I love that I think are underrated:
    #5: Footloose 1980s
Say all you want about the melodrama, but this movie is jam packed with scenes that I find incredibly memorable, and it’s just a movie I have a great time with.
#4: Dungeons & Dragons Honor Among Thieves
One of my favorite movies of last year, but I didn’t hear that many people talk about it.
    #3: Over The Top
I really like movies with a heartfelt father and son connection, Stallone is one of my favorites actors, and it’s got a great Kenny Loggins song.
    #2: Mr Peabody & Sherman
This is a movie that I basically watched on loop as a kid, but now with people like me in their teenage years looking back on their childhood favorites, I don’t see this one pop up all that often.
    #1: Young Guns 1 and 2
My dad showed me these two movies and I loved both of them so much. The cast is pretty incredible for both of these movies. I mean you’ve got Kiefer Sutherland, Lou Diamond Phillips, Emilio Esteves, and I am big fan of westerns, so the Billy the Kid story with these actors is a movie that I absolutely love

Frailty is one of the biggest surprises I've ever come across, but it's so hard to describe to people and make it sound appealing without giving away spoilers. 1. The Drop
A Tom Hardy, Naomi Rapace and James Gandolfini (in his last role) crime drama. Really great acting all round with a tense atmosphere and interesting premise set in a drop bar
    2. Hidalgo
Classic old school adventure starring Viggo Mortesson and Omar Sharrif. Horse Racer from the old west travels to Arabia to compete in long distance desert race. This is a very easy watch. Not the best movie in the world, critics weren’t kind on it but it’s a good old fashioned adventure flick from the early 2000’s

I'll mention ten off the top of my head: JoJo Rabbit, Citizen X, The Basketball Diaries (intense early Leo DiCaprio), Flightplan (add Panic Room for a great Jodie Foster double feature), The Hateful Eight, Insomnia, Phone Booth, Arrival, From Hell (add Ed Wood for a great Johnny Depp double feature), and Kingpin (add Dodgeball for an excellent comedy double feature). Two more for you. You can go back to the 70's for an overlooked comedy classic called "Murder By Death." It has several recognizable stars of the era (including Peter Falk and Peter Sellers). The murder mystery script is hilarious, but you have to check your political correctness at the door. Lastly, you don't find too many Nicole Kidman horror movies. However, she gives one of the best performances of her career in "The Others."
It's a spellbinding story from start to finish.
