For those of you who are wondering, this is a medley of all the test demos that Gaylord Carter performed while composing the music for The Haunted Mansion. The final version of the Ballroom Organ song was inspired by Carter and performed by organist William Sabransky.
This is one of my favorite attraction tunes besides Pirates Of The Carribbean. It's very beautiful, elegant and haunting at the same time. It's was I imagined being played at a high society southern Debutant ball in the 1700s and 1800s
I play organ by ear and learned this year's and years ago. Was doing some remodeling work on a church once and, well, there was an organ, soooo..... Luckily they found the humor in it.
If I was a girl and had a Quinceañera, I would have used this as my dance with my royal court and Chambalan while wearing the southern Belle gowns and had a ghoultastic time with it 👸🏽💃🏽🕺🏽
Personally, I like the first test version more than the final one that they ended up using on the ride. I know the final version used elements of it, but I just liked it more as a whole.
