90% of the comments are exactly the same, asking me to find a new translator. You do realize these videos were already complete - meaning they were filmed weeks ago? I am now back home in Toronto, Canada. I don't have a time machine to go back in time. I was happy with Abbas, which is not a guide, nor a translator simply someone I met in Kabul that was helping me around Afghanistan. Now I would appreciate some respect, curtousy and manners. Enough is enough, watch the video (or don't) because it's complete and stop with the negativity. Remember my content is free, and this is not my job. Respectfully.

In the past 20 years war thousands people killed because of mistranslateion of interprets and put internationals in great trouble and the result we saw last year on 15th of August in Afghanistan!!!

Chris, you, Emma, Expat, and other Western tourists that are travelling there and showing the unadulterated and the true beauty of Afghans and Afghanistan to the world, are doing a great service to those people. At times you might have faced some problems, but 40 years of war can take a toll on anybody and nation. The Afghans appreciate you guys a lot and they will forever be talking about you in a good way.
The Talibans at the moment are very cautious because back in the days (during the Monarchy and then Republic era and later) when tourists visited, there were a lot of spies amongst them and they went unnoticed. During the Russian invasion, you could sometimes see CIA spies and operatives deep in the rural areas with the Mujahideen and also disguised as tourists in the cities. So, for sometime the Taliban would be seeing almost all foreign tourists, despite where they come from, with suspicion, but that is a given in such countries who went through such turmoil. Don't let that stop you from future visits because I believe it adds to the adventure.
Keep doing what you're doing and never take any negativity to heart. Btw bro, you look good in Afghan clothes. All the very best.

Your translators can not speak Pashto, they just tell you something from thier own, find some who speaks Dari, Pashto and English.

translator dosn't understand Pashto language. he was mistranslating that kids. you shhould find a someone ho understands two languages of Afghanista.
in Pashtun areas you should find a pashtun translator
