People need to realize what your team did last season does not matter. Whole new season. Almost every teams roster is different. Some teams made major improvements, some made little. Wouldn't make sense for me to make 2024 rankings and base it on 2023. Go watch my Week 18 power rankings from last season if you want that.

Packers are too high in my opinion. The only thing people remember is the playoff game vs the cowboys. The packers barely made the playoffs and look at the teams they beat at the end of the year to get in. They barely beat the panthers, beat the Vikings, and barely beat a Bears team with no QB. Not to mention they’re moving to a 4-3 defense this year and teams have a year of tape on Love. Feels more like they should be in the 10-13 range. Also, the Bills are way too high

beat chiefs the sb champs and lions, keep in mind love went 21td and 1interception in nfl, bring in xaiver mckinney and josh jacobs. I think packers will at least be 5 seed or 4.

Steelers being a playoff team last year w kenny pickett at QB for over half the year, improving on an already top 5-6 defense, acquiring a veteran QB and improving an O-Line to support a crazy running back duo w Harris and Warren and falling to 19 is wild to me idk
Every AFC North teams should be in the top 10 and I say that as a bengals fan.

Raiders gonna surprise a lot of people. I think many think because they were in for a QB in the draft they don’t have a QB, but that couldn’t be farther from the truth. The Raiders just wanted to go big, but they were probably the best team QB situation wise out of all the QB needy teams going into the draft. Aidan O’Connell was the second best rookie statistically last season (not saying he’s the second best QB of his class), and he improved each week. In the final 4 weeks, he totaled 8 TDs and 0 INTs. The team’s record with AOC at QB was 5-5. And the Raiders also brought in Gardner Minshew who’s one of the most underrated QBs in the NFL. Not a plus starter by any means but he’s definitely a top 32 QB. 64 total TDs to 24 INTs in his career. I could understand the concern for either of these QBs if say the Raiders didn’t surround with a good supporting cast. But the Raiders have plus starters and good depth at damn near every receiving position and the OL (minus RT ofc). I mean Davante Adams, Jakobi Meyers, Brock Bowers, Michael Gallup, Michael Mayer, Tre Tucker is a DEEP receiving group. Then when you factor in that the offense won’t have to score that many points with the defense the Raiders have, I can’t see how people think this is a bottom 12 team. Went 8-9 last year (5-4 under AP), I think it’s very realistic they go around 9-8 to 10-7 next year and compete for a wild card spot. To me they are easily the second best team in the AFC West, the Chargers have too many holes and question marks. Not sure J Herbo is enough.

The Ravens have more blue chip players than the Bills or Bengals overall roster wise. All 3 QBs are great but chasing the baby GOAT Mahomes. I just don't get the Ravens at 9 lol.

Ravens lost some pieces on their roster. The receiving core is mid, the O-line has gotten worse, their defense lost their DC, and Patrick Queen in some other pieces. I don’t think it’s a crazy thing to be where they’re at now though I still think they are top 10 team

This isn't last year power rankings, it's for this year. Texans got a lot better and have a star QB in the making. Colts basically stayed the same. Titans got a ton better.

the panthers defense blows asside from that one CB yall have, but the offense drasticly improved from last year adding offensive lineman and 2 more top recievers in xavier leggette, and Diontae johnson, just hope he doesnt drop the ball like he did in pittsburgh.

After seeing where you have the Steelers I gotta say YIKES..
I understand we’re expected to have the toughest schedule in the NFL this year and qb play will hold us back from contending (along with having a weak receiver room) but I think with a healthy year we win at the bare minimum 10 games. Since we play really well in division games I think we finish second in the north (same record as the bengals, 11-6) and hopefully win at least one playoff game. That being said, I think we should be around the 13-14 range interchangeable with the falcons.
I should add I expect the Steelers to have a improved pass game and a much improved run game (revamped O-line plus new play calling)
Defensively the hope is to be a top 5 unit with the pressure we force and a stifling run defense.

The thing with the Colts is they resigned a lot of their best players. You make it seem like they should have let them go for the sake of signing somebody else just to sign somebody else.
Danielle Hunter is somebody they went after. If they signed him, they likely wouldn't have gotten Stewart and/or Kenny Moore back. Now they have both of them and Latu with money still to spend.
It’s good to see the lions are getting better they have the right people at the helm that will keep them good for some years
The packers are massively overrated. They sucked for the first half of the year and barely snuck into the playoffs ahead of the Seahawks. They beat the cowboys in the playoffs but the cowboys suck in the playoffs. I dont think they will even make the playoffs this year because their division is harder this year.

Super hard exercise before the schedules and rosters are finalised. Such an even league and we ill likely see a couple of favoured teams tumble on the back of an injury or to. Bold prediction fallers - Lions, Cowboys, Falcons, Ravens, Jets, Jags.
First off lions team is better than last yr team, falcons will win that sorry division Jets will be better is Rodgers stays healthy. And the jags fell off last yr. They probably will be better this yr...
@@harrellwilliams5010 You could be right, but the Lions O Line is aging and Goff is fairly immobile, and WR corps is relatively thin. They had a dream window last season with Love in his rookie season, the Bears in disarray, and the Vikes down Cousins and Jettas. Even with that the Bears and Packers both outplayed them late in the season, and the Vikes have completely overhauled their defence.
The Falcons are counting on Cousins being fully recovered and not declining or losing mobility, something the Vikes were not prepared to bet on. The Falcons O Line will quickly notice the difference trying to protect a QB who is completely dependent on them and cannot create outside the pocket. That experiment/gamble might not work.
Rodgers is 41 and only lasted 4 snaps last season, and was hurried and almost sacked on 3 of them. He was starting to decline in GB, and is now 2 years older. Brady managed to fend off time, but he was less reliant on moving than Rodgers. I will be surprised if Rodgers lasts the season, and if he doesn't, neither will they.
The Jags are interesting. Lawrence was sabotaged by coaching year 1, and tried to do do much last season. Has the rest of the division caught up with them?

We were 10-7, the Edge led the LG in TFL + 16.5 sacks and has had double digit sacks multiple seasons. Diggs still had 1200 yards and that’s a down year, added Mixon. So yea I’d say we’re a top 3 team on paper 🤷🏽♂️

Broncos should be higher than 32, they went 8-9 while beating the eventual super bowl champions and three other playoff teans last year.

As a ravens fan, not upset with 9. Huge upside this year with young talent, more than I can remember in a few years. Our DC will likely be a slight downgrade. Offense under Monken year 2 should be lots of fun, considering many of the downgrades and losses in FA are almost all defense. Derrick Henry and Keaton Mitchell are a net upgrade from our previous backfield (as much as I love Gus Edwards RIP).
Also mark my words, if the ravens underperform this year, Harbs might be out. I think EDC is gonna start getting aggressive in these next contract years that Lamar has left. The window won’t be open forever, and if this year shows him it’s closed. He may make a splash hire if a big offensive coach is on the market.

The Bengals need to be number 2 on this list. The Bills have no reason being in the top 5 and I think people are far too high on the Texans and Green Bay. We saw approximately 8 games where Jordan Love played well. Why does anyone think he is this great QB? He was so bad out of college that he had to sit for 3 years before he took a snap.
Also how is Josh allen your #2 player? He throws as many ints as tds, and loses big games. Must be because hes tall, has a good throwing arm, and runs around like a running back

Seattle & Pittsburgh seem too far down in the rankings while Atlanta too high up. Cleveland might also be too low given they will have Nick Chubb back. Green Bay and Houston might be too far up.

Hit the nail on the head at the end there. Most casual NFL fans don’t account for the other 31 teams in a power ranking like this. It’s not a hero’s journey of one team against the world. Also doesn’t help when platforms like ESPN do them the wrong way and give people a bad idea of what power rankings should look like.
Then you can always sus out the people who don’t watch the full video/explanation for each ranking. People in the comments upset about teams you put in the same tier for example lol.
Saints fans are upset with our spot in the rankings makes no sense. Baltimore fans are pissed about being ranked 9 like being a 5 seed is so offensive in the AFC. The packers are too high because of insert last year monologue. And yet the only team I disagree with is I think the browns should be lower.

Yeah it's just the narrative, people forget we have a full new offensive staff (including the guy who was the top of every youtubers list for a new OC) replacing the least inventive staff in the league, have the best statistically the defensive play caller in the league, had a draft that everyone has rated atleast a B and have a talented enough roster that was a Carr injury Vs green bay from the playoffs (the meme is that it's old but there's young talent in the secondary, olave+shaheed, werner+gay) etc. really should be somewhere in the Dallas to Titans range
I’m a saints fan. Our ranking is justified. Meh QB meh O line and an aging defense isn’t exactly moving the needle. Need Bresee Foskey and Turner to step up if we want the defense to be top 10, and our offense hinges on whether or not fuaga can fill the shoes Ramczyk leaves

These rankings are for this year, not last year. Several teams had major improvements so they will hop the Colts. Every year fans call me a hater and tell me they are winning the division/making playoffs and they prove me right again and again. I'll let them know when they are making it.

So I have an issue with the Bears being at 18. So, Levis and Richardson, your reasoning for their low ranking was the unproven aspect. Now you look at Caleb Williams. Bears got Swift injury prone Allen old a rookie wideout and a rookie QB IDC what their stats were in college cause pro is a way different sport than college. Raiders at 25 is INSANE, can easily have a top 5 defense this year. The only weakness they have on the offensive side is QB but if AOC or Minshew play like they did last year they’ll be fine. Defense wise nothing but dawgs They have no weaknesses.

Are you joking? You have the colts at 23? In that group? They upgraded across the board and have the top ten defense with a great o line a great rb room and a very young and talented we/te room! They are definitely higher than having an early an issue! Maybe go back and actually watch some colts games that he played in and check the rookie mistakes made early and how he developed along the short playing time. You can’t grade a whole team on a very short qb time and not include the qb that played most of the season and finished with one drop pass of making the playoffs? This list sucks man! Go back and try doing a lil more research as to actually watch the games and not just use other analysts list and only add your own sparse input.

I was about to subscribe you your channel but now I’m not. The Bengals went into San Francisco last year and beat the 49ers by 17 points when the 49ers were on a 7 game winning streak. If Tyler Boyd had t dropped the game winning td the Bengals beat the Texans in Houston last year. The Lions will never sniff the NFC championship again.
