Interesting note- if you use extended hours on your checkout day, they will end at MIDNIGHT even if they go to 1 am. Had this happen and verified with cast member.
but if extended hours are, say 11pm to 1 am, when you've already been in the park from 11pm to midnight and after midnight they end, the castmembers will still let you on the rides at that point. Happened to me at magic kingdom and it wasnt an issue with any of the castmembers, in fact the end of the night (12:45ish) they stopped checking at the ride entrances.
I just have to say it… The magic at WDW is GONE! The parks are overcrowded,over priced and way too complicated with Genie + and Individual Lightning Lanes. I’m glad I got to go as often as I did prior to Covid-19. Not sure when or if I’ll ever go back?
I love that butter bar too. I tried it for the first time on our August trip and I was in heaven. I wouldn't have even known about it if it wasn't for you AJ!
Swan Hotel definitely saved my family and I some money! Really enjoyed being so close to Epcot and Hollywood Studios. We got lucky and have a view of The Tower of Terror. Being so close to Boardwalk and all of the restaurants. Great location
AJ is 100% right about David’s DVC rentals. They are great and it saves a ton over cash rates. I never tried this but I think it would work. If staying at the Swan, can you take the Beach Club bus to MK? That would avoid the TTC and it’s not a very long walk. Just a thought.
We are skipping Not So Scary and going over to Universal's Halloween themed event. Looks pretty awesome. I'll miss the amazing Halloween parade but that's ok.
What gets me is the merch sale pitch, if you buy our merch you'll have what no one else has....except the many other people who also bought your merch to go to Disney with lol
I went to WDW last month. I witnessed some guy basically cheat his was into the Lightning Lane for Peter Pan. He scanned his MagicBand, the light flashed blue, and he gave the Cast Member some verbiage about the app not working while speaking in a very fast, nervous voice. He was also carrying his son. The Cast Member let him on, despite him clearly not having a Lightning Lane reservation. I asked him how often he gets away with that. His response, "Every ride so far but Rise."
Same type of people that will fake having a disabled kid so they can all go to the front of the line. I don't know if they still let the disabled do that but we saw it happen many times over the years- big family rolls up with a kid in a chair, they all get taken to the front with zero wait, kid HOPS out and onto the ride. Suspicious.
About the transportation from the Swan and Dolphin...can't you just walk over to Yacht and Beach Club and use their transportation that is more reliable?
i remember back in the day when we stayed at the Swan, we just walked all around the boardwalk and then just hopped on the boat that took you to Epcot.
Well the one Disney Guest in the news had the ULTIMATE CHEAT by sneaking her kid in and not paying. I in no way condone her for doing it but hey; she was clever I guess. 😂
Years ago a lady in the elevator was telling us how she was passing her 4 year old as a 3 year old so she didn't have to pay. I didn't know what to say. Great job being a dishonest person and being a bad example for your daughter? We all want to save money but there's things you shouldn't do.
I strongly suggest time stamps or i'll be turning all of my viewership towards WDW News, who actually use time stamps. The last few videos here have been empty news and a waste of time.
My favorite cheat for Disney World was being a child and having my parents pay for me. It doesn’t work anymore 😢

Not at all bad but a lot of the rides are great so don’t sleep on the rides
