Let’s have a video about subscriptions and the best ones out there and how this is the only way we can keep this hobby alive….pre 1990 good condition subs are extremely rare also
Hey Brad, I know in a previous video that you mentioned about sending a signed magazine to CBCS and trying out their grading. Just wanted to let you know in case you didn’t already that CGC has now acquired JSA. This will allow customers to grade SI’s and other signed magazines without having to get a green label issue or downgraded universal blue label due to an autograph. Not sure if they’ll have some version of a yellow signature series label for JSA authentication or not or if you’d have to pay for authentication if that had already been done by JSA previously. In any case, just thought I’d pass that along to you. Love the videos!
I'm getting ready to send my first ever submissions in. Do you know if you can send an autograph copy in with 4 others and get them all back in the same box or will CGC send the autographed copy back separately and charge you more?
Yes I did see that announcement and I'm absolutely stoked about it. I plan on putting out a video to discuss it, but just haven't had time yet. Thanks for sharing and for watching!
@gcxred4kat9 They haven't launched the autograph authentication quite yet so I'd hold off on sending in your autographed magazine. They said it's supposed to begin some time in April.
@@gcxred4kat9 I’m pretty sure that CGC will will consider it as a different submission like they do between modern and vintage issues. So, if you have more than one autographed copy that you’d like graded, I would send in several together to reduce the return shipping charge. As Jim from cgcsportsillustrated9.8 has mentioned in his videos, sending in 5 of the same type of submission (and same grading tier) at a time is the best to reduce the return shipping charges. I understand that you may not have that many autographed ones to send in at one time, but it’s just a good rule of thumb.
@@cliffscollectibles1007 Thanks. I have Butkus' 2nd auto, Ted Williams' auto where he's sharing a cover with Musial, and Bird's, Bradshaw's, and Testaverde's ONLY covers. Do you happen to know if they'll do just covers?
That's a shame that '57 SPORT Wilt Chamberlain only went for $50. SPORT just isn't getting it's due. Hey young collectors, I'd pick up SPORT mags while they're still relatively cheap.
Great video as always
