- Worked example to the following problem:
If 1000 kg/h of a nicotine (C)-water (A) solution containing 1 wt% nicotine is to be counter currently extracted with kerosene at 20°C to reduce the nicotine content to 0.1 wt%, determine (a) the minimum kerosene rate, and (b) the number of theoretical stages required if 1150 kg of kerosene is used per hour.

you are the best. all the textbooks out there are trying out there to solve the same problem using complicated methods. but, u, like a solved it like a true chemical engineer. thank you once again.
You're welcome. Good luck in your studies.
Great job 👍
Hello, I just wanted to say that I'm extremely grateful for your videos on Separation Processes. They helped me get an A4 in my penultimate year. I was wondering if you could make any more short videos on any final year courses (e.g Biochemical Engineering, Process Control, Process Safety etc). Thank you so MUCH!
Hi there Ifeanyi! Glad you liked the videos and I am really pleased they helped you out. I am not planning any new ones just yet, it depends if I am teaching here at KIT Karlsruhe in the coming academic year. All the best in your studies :)
Thank you very much...very easy to understand
Great! Really makes me happy to know that this has been helpful for you.
thank you.
You're welcome.
Thanks so much 🙏
THANK YOU!
Hello,
In your latest video you say that you're currently at the KIT. I'm going to start studying ChemE and process engineering there in Oktober. I wanted to ask what exactly you're doing there :)
Thanks and see you soon
Hi there StarGang33 - great choice to study chemical engineering at KIT! I am working as a researcher in the Institute for Micro Process Engineering (IMVT), Campus North. I might teach something in the coming academic year, although probably only in the Masters course. See you around!
Hello, can you please make chemical engineering videos on the topic of mass transfer? Would highly be appreciated
How can I get this question in any reference
