One of the easiest ways to find these types of businesses in your area is by using google maps. Type in "produce corporation", "produce market merchant" or "produce wholesaler" to narrow down the search. A lot of these places sell items by the case as a standard practice so you don't need to hunt down a sale - just for the location to go to.
How do I find out about case sales in my area. I have never heard of such a thing.
Thank you I just dehydrated apple chips. Grilled a pineapple and ready to can butter
I hope you made some FRESH SALSA with those onions & tomatoes.. YOU LADIES LOOK SO HAPPY. NICE SEEING SMILING FACES. Ms Wanda has been looking a little tired as of late. I believe I'm older. Looks like she has been doing a bunch of gardening. Remind her & Danny to slow down a bit. YOU & PAUL HIS DAUGHTER & SUNSHINE TAKE GOOD CARE OF EACH OTHER. ALSO YOUR NICE LOVING NEIGHBORS DSH.. GOD'S BLESSINGS.
How do find out about places like this.
Blessings sometimes comes in Vegetables, I am so happy for You.
~~~ My dear friend, you are so wise and your ideas help us all. I have you and young Sunshine and your man on my daily prayer list...GOD'S JOY. And i loved seeing Mrs.Wanda on your video.
Great video Amanda. Enjoyed the content.
What a great find! Good for you guys.
What a goldmine! LOTS of great information here...how to store pineapples, never saw butter sold by the case, and the idea of having neighbors to go in on a sale...wowee! I can't wait to see how you get it all put up! Very exciting! Lots of work, but I know you, Sunshine and Wanda go this. Good luck!
Hello friend. I would like a vídeo on regrowing all kinds of stuff that you get at the grocery stores. I really MEAN all kinds of stuff.
No produce that I know of, but I did hit our local Case Farm truck load sale and stocked up on chicken tenders and boneless skinless chicken breasts. I ended up buying 40 pounds of tenders and split them with my daughter and 80 pounds of breasts and my daughter got 20 pounds of those. I will be canning up at least 40 pounds of the breasts as well as the 30 pounds of leg quarters I bought last year as she has some meat birds that will be processed in a few months! I'd love to get my hands on some fruits and veggies to can though.
Hey Amanda, Mkae sure you cut the ends off the lemon grass and root it in water. It should grow roots and then replant it. Take care and God Bless.
Awsome bounty . Thats a lot of canning. Rumor is out that theres going to be a meat shortage. As long as i have a pee shooter and a fishing pole, ill have plenty of food (-: good luck to you and sunshine girl. (-:
Freedom !
Charlotte from Ky. 😀
awww, hi Sunshine, I see her waving inside the vehicle, how cute.
Great video! I had no idea about upside down pineapple, thanks. Stay safe God bless😇😇😇😇😇
The reddish purple onions are awesome in salads, sandwiches, and roasted.
That's a good haul, lots to put to use , I'd forgotten about that place. Great share-Thanks
You can make an awesome houseplant off of the pineapple crowns. They won't produce fruit for years, but it's a good conversation starter in the meantime. Glad you're having so much fun!
Nice!
you shop the way my husband and I do very good way to shop and save money time ....and for a time like this you are thinking really good
Your knowledge is amazing! Love the videos you do together with Deep South! I think you should both do more videos together!
I would love to find a sale like that! I’m thankful that I found out about a chicken case sale in a neighboring city. We’re getting ready to go there now. We tried yesterday, but they ran out before we got to the trucks. The lines were soooo long. We waited just over two hours. This morning we’re planning to get there in plenty of time before it starts at 10. Lord willing, I plan to can a lot of it.
Is there anyway you could tell us the prices next time??? Thank you!
Wow! I would like to find one of those sales. Since I can't have a garden here. I will have to do some checking. That is awesome for you all. I saw Little Miss Sunshine waving at the camera, and I found myself waving back at her lol. She loves to help you do things, and she learns at the same time. Looking forward to the up coming videos. You all stay safe and well. God Bless Y'all. Hugggs
Good score
Canning, as well!
Great idea.
I am very happy for you. Hi Sunshine.
Grandma Sue in central Indiana and Izzi Too
What a wonderful blessing, all glory to God
That's a great haul! Hi Sunshine
👍 Well done!
Wow wonderful treasure
Oooo. I hadn't thought of freezing onions so they're ready for salsa. Have you ever frozen onions and then used them in salsa when you can it?
GOOD JOB!
🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻
Thankyou for your video
Oh wish we could find onions like that.. I need to can some more onion stock😇
You can also cut up onions small, and freeze in freezer ziploc bags. If they clump together, just hit the bag on the counter. Really practical when you need some chopped onion for cooking, and this way they don't go bad. No waste. Trying to regrow onions from the root portion.
I fermented my red onions. It’s the best. Recipe is on Homesteading Family.
We don’t have sales like that where I’m from
Dehydrate.
Does Paul live near you or with you?
Not your business ma'am
This is so nice. Does anyone know of a case sale in Ohio
I'm from Ohio. I would like to know too :)
How would I find a case sale in my area
Smiths-world homestead Life You may try the food service delivery businesses; PFG, SYSCO and other providers for restaurants that have Will Call sales. Call in the order and pick up at loading docks. Also, look up produce companies near you on google.
