I lived in the Ham for about 15 years. Have you been to Blanchard Mountain? You can drive there with a State Park pass. It's a must. Take a picnic lunch. And do so on a bright sunny day. The view is absolutely breathtaking. 270 degree view, from Mt. Rainier to the Olympics and the San Juans, And you might get lucky if the hang gliders are up there.
