So basically it's a story from Taylor's perspective. Her friends Este's husband cheats on her and when she confronts him, he kills her to be with his mistress. so Taylor kills the husband and frames the mistress.
That is what I call friendship goals, lol.
nah she doesn't frame the mistress! she just kills the husband . If she had framed the mistress there wouldn't be a line like " They think she did it , but they can't prove it "
@@Zts23 she framed the mistress as soon as she heard that she took out a big life insurance policy.
@@anhquantruong6874
Este's friend didn't frame the mistress !
She says good thing that she had taken life insurance policy so everyone would suspect her naturally!
She did nothing to make it provable for people that the mistress did it!
@@anhquantruong6874 She killed him and just made sure she herself wouldnt be suspected thats ALLL .
Am i the only one who got it the first time and instantly fell in love with the song?
Same here!! I planned a murder after that song lol
I don't know how people don't get it??
@@abinayaselvaraju582 same.....???
Same! I got it the first time and won't stop listening to it because it is SO good. Same with Champagne problems, I saw a guy that legit thought it was about problems that comes with drinking and I was like ??? Dude, you missed the whole story of the song.
We are same bro..😀
Best short crime story. Her talent has no bounds😍
Two black cadillacs says hi!
@@MrLeonardo9 "Goodbye Earl" has just entered the conversation...
It wasn't the mistress who murdered him. Este's husband killed her, so Taylor killed him to get revenge for her friend (that's why she says it's a good thing that the mistress took out a big life insurance policy, so they'd think she did it and no one would suspect that Taylor was the murderer).
Also Este's sister is going to swear she was with Taylor 😁😁
Taylor said since she loves true crime shows so she wanted to write a murder mystery that's why it's a murder song
Didn't she named one of her cats after Olivia Benson? Or did I hear wrong? 😂
Taylor should write a novel. She’s brilliant! Her novel would probably be crime fiction, and I think it would be so good that someone would make movie or tv show based on her book.
just a fun fact: Este is one of the Haim sisters (there are three). Obviously it is fiction and she just used her name, but there's that :) And that's why when Taylor says "her sister is gonna swear she was with me" Danielle (another Haim sister) says "she was with me, dude".
Its alana not danielle
This song is definitely one of fan’s favorites
*I'm glad im not the only one who didn't get what happened the first time*
same here 😂😂😂
me when i see people don't understand the story in their 1st listen: why don't you get it???
also me after my 1st listening to this song: "he did it...they think she did it...she think i did it" ........ song ends and my brain is stuck in an endless loop of "wait..???...what?...who did it?"
😂 love this, we need another listen
There are multiple crimes in the song:
"she thinks he did it": Este thinks her husband is cheating on her.
"I think he did it": Taylor/the narrator thinks Este's husband killed Este.
"they think she did it": the police think the mistress killed the husband due to the suspicious life insurance policy.
"she thinks I did it": the mistress thinks Taylor/the narrator killed the husband.
Well.... I understood it both times😅😅🤣🤣
Favorite song on the album
The whole album is a work of art. So its hard to choose
Omg you got it right she said she was inspired by those podcasts so she wrote this song ❤️❤️I got cofused at first too . Este is Taylor's friend she thinks her husband is cheating on her she calls him out and he kills her and report her missing thats the first part of the song then taylor gotta get revenge for her friend so she kills the man and put the blame on this mistress because of the life insurance policy . I thought at first it was about different perspective the first one from taylor as estes friend the second from este and the last one from the mistress but its not cuz when she says estes sister gonna swear she was with me . Danielle says she was with me dude shes talking about taylor if she was talking about este it wouldnt make sense to say estes sister 🤷♀️but I loved you reaction guys ❤️❤️
wow had to read your comment 2x thank you 🙇🏻♂️🙇🏻♀️
@@BeardsBrains awwww 🥺🥺🥺🥺THANK YOU for doing this ❤️❤️
This song is kind of mystery illusion and a instigatory suspenceful and kind of a whole series in one Song, Oh god Taylorrrrr Love uuuu
Not a taylor fan but I listened to this and went crazy. I'm usually into darker music like the weeknd but this song story wise is just something else. and the fact that taylor kills the husband is just 🔥
it's a story from taylor's perspective. she killed the guy because he killed her friend
Okay taylor and whatever but YOU GUYS ARE SO CUTE TF?? my single heart screamed "relationship goals"
🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗 aww thank you 🖤🖤🖤
this is my fav song on evermore :)
I love how Taylor stammers on the last lines "I wasn't letting up until the day he, I wasn't letting up until the day he" represents how the murder if the man is still a secret, and she won't reval he died bc there's no evidence she killed him. And by the last when she whispers the died, bc no one can proved it she killed him or the man died, so it'll all be a mystery, a whisper in the wind.
TS style of telling a story in a song is like you dk what the hell is going on/the hell she talking about and than bamm the last chorus/bridge hit and yr like ohhhhh thats why.......
1st Chorus (I think he did it but I just can't prove it) Este thought his husband cheated on her.
2nd Chorus (I think he did it but I just can't prove it) Taylor thought the husband killed Este.
3rd Chorus (They think she did it but they just can't prove it) Other people thought the mistress killed the husband.
3rd Chorus (She thinks I did but she JUST can't prove it) The mistress thought Taylor killed the husband. Taylor was smirking when she said JUST because she was confident that the mistress wouldn't be able to prove it.
Fun fact: Este is one of the (three) HAIM (pronounced hahy-ihm) sisters and she co-wrote the song, also the restaurant named in the song is actually Este's favorite and in the song when Taylor sings "Good thing Este's sister gonna swear she was with me" and someone says "she was with me dude" that is Danielle (Haim main vocalist), Este's sister in real life hehe.
taylor's storytelling skill never failed to amaze me.... God
best song on the album hands down
1st verse talks about how este knew her husband is cheating on her leading to the second verse of the song where her husband killed her, the bridge describes how taylor killed este’s husband with the help of este’s sister but since the mistress took out the insurance policy, the police thinks her mistress killed him bc of this money but they can’t prove it, no body no crime 😜 wow taylor is really a genius songwriter, no one should question her pen game!!
with the boat line im guessing that means she dumped his body in a lake or something??
addys cottage yes you’re right!
My favorite song off the album.. her storytelling is everything ! Add in the folk/country sound and I’m sold.. Taylor is too good. Haim is one of my favs too..I would recommend checking out their music. The woman power in this song 💪🏼 you can always count on Taylor to deliver us some lyrical masterpieces along with the best collaboration!
this one is giving me "reputation" vibes, pls guys after your done with evermore react to reputation by Taylor Swfit, it was the most iconic era of any artist to this day!!
Been waiting for this reaction ❤
been waitingn for this wwonderful
I’ve been waiting for this one! Woo!
She is already doing that ( talk from other prospective ) from her earlier carrier. It's just amaze me
Este is also the name of one of the sisters that’s in the band on the song, HAIM 😁
This is the perspective of Este's friend- Este is saying she knows her husband cheated but can't prove it. Then Este goes missing and Taylor (the friend) says I know he killed her but I can't prove it. Then she references the boat because she can dump his body, her friend is going to give her an alibi, and the mistress took out life insurance which gives the mistress an incentive to kill him. So the mistress is the perfect one to blame for his death. Basically, the friend of Este is getting revenge for killing her.
shortest crime story ever bt also the best one ever😁
I liked before I even started watching. 😊
FINALLYYYYY
This song is written by Taylor Swift alone😌
Taylor Swift best friend told her that her husband was cheating, then she went missing. So Taylor believed he killed her(Este). The husband mistress moved into the house after Este death then Taylor killed the husband for killing her friend Este. The mistress thinks Taylor killed the husband but she can’t prove it. So the husband kills his wife then Taylor killed the husband. So the mistress looks like the killer in the end.
We r waiting 🤠🤠
It's a Dateline episode in a song!!
Haim is pronounced Hy-im. Ironically, it rhymes with the word crime 🙂
Basically she killed her best friends husband because he killed este...thats all they way she sung it was mindblowing and amazing
Now im excited for Ivy
Este is her friend who was killed by her husband and that husband moved in with her mistress... And Taylor (saying Taylor cuz we don't know what role she's playin as) killed him and covered up the scene cuz she cleaned enough houses to know how ..... Now the people think that mistress killed him cuz she took out a big life insurance policy just before he was killed and the mistress thinks Taylor killed him but she can't prove it, cuz she covered up the scene well and no body, no crime..
Nooo, guys: the husband killed Este so Taylor's character, Este's friend, kills him and frames the mistress LOL 🗣️
That's why she mentions the life policy thing: It was a really good coincidence on Taylor's character advantage and since Taylor covered up the scene and had no connections to the husband, the mistress it's the only suspect and at the same time she knows Taylor's character did... But she just can't prove it 😈
Remember the watts family story?
This is the perspective of shannon’s best friend
She named shannon as Este
Wait are you serious? Because I literally just said today “wow this song reminds me of that Chris Watts story.” 😳
I like to think that the people who understand it right away are the ones that also like to watch murder documentaries.
Boy, these two are dense...
I think its a good thing that you dont get it at first listen, like i think that the mistress did it because of the narrators alibi then i started to get doubts of who really did it, effective story telling
Only beards in the vid this time, Lol
😂 yup!!
The Weeknd - Earned it
She killed the husband because the husband killed his wife Este which a good friend of hers. The bridge says it all. Btw love your reaction guys!💞 as always.☺ keep it coming!❤
😍😍😍
The cheating husband killed his wife este, and got new tires because he dumped the body somewhere and didnt want the tracks to match his tires. Taylor then avenged her friend and killed the guy and thre his body in the lake. The mistress was blamed as she had a huge life insurance policy
So Estes husband killed her and his mistress moves in and takes out a life insurance policy, Estes friend Taylor kills her husband in revenge and Taylor’s in the clear because the police think the mistress killed the husband.
guys do the weeknd nothing compares please
first part she's talking about infidelity. second, about the guy murdering his wife and his mistress moving with him. third about the friend killing the guy and blaming the mistress (and este's friend has an alibi).
Haim is actually pronounced as 'hi-yim' it's a Hebrew word that means life! (The Haim sisters are Jewish!)
This is self written song
Hi-Mmm
Guys you need to work a little on your understanding the storyline. Got it all wrong 😎😂
you should react to haim asap
So bassically Este's husband killed her wife, and she(Taylor, Este's Best friend) killed him
guy killed este, taylor killed guy
The Weeknd-XO/The Host
You need to do no frauds by Nicki
Am I the only one who could relate this to How scooter braun took right of her art away from her but could still get away with it legally. Hence, No Body No Crime😭
Like the reaction, but I think it’s time to react some of Kid Cudi’s stuff from his new album Man on the moon 3.
Este (Taylor’s friend) is murdered by her adulterous husband so Taylor avenges her death and murders him. First perspective of no body, no crime is Este’s discovery of his infidelity, then it’s Taylor’s suspicions that her friend was murdered, lastly it’s him getting murdered and authorities believing the mistress did it while the mistress believing that Taylor did it. But since there’s no body, there’s no crime 🤷🏻♀️
The Weeknd heartless live pls
If the mistress took out a life insurance policy only her husband or blood relatives would benefit from it, so I don’t see the connection. If the cheating husband took out the policy his wife would benefit or maybe relatives not not the mistress. Only if Este had life insurance would husband benefit. Where did he get the new wheels from? Estes life insurance? But the song says it’s mistress life insurance. Please can someone e clear this up for me??
Love all of these new reactions, Still Would love for you to listen to POV By Ariana it’s a beautiful love song
They didn’t understand this at all. The mistress wasn’t the cleaner?? His head just kept bobbing in a different rhythm. I couldn’t watch. How did they miss the whole first and third verses and misinterpret them? It was very easy to follow. It was a double murder.
Este was killed by the husband - AND THEN - the husband was killed by Este’s best friend, the first person. “She got a boating license and knew how to clean up a crime.” & ““I” wasn’t going to give up until the day HE DIED.” I’ve never seen someone so confused by this song before. 🙈
Taylor killed the husband and the police think the mistress killed him.
She killed the husband and then framed it on the mistress
Justin Bieber - What do you mean please!
react to J.I ft A boogie R&B shit
Please react to xo/the host
What? The guy killed esty, Taylor killed the guy. What’s so hard to understand?
Too much Taylor Swift uploads in the few days but i respect that cause i love you guys.
If Abel is coming back, please react to Nothing Compares or Missed You.
You two are cute but stop mansplaining a simple song.
Can you switch the artist pls?!
Nope, they won't. If you don't like her then don't watch her based reactions. It is not that hard to do.
No they can’t .
Wow can’t believe people are still disrespecting Taylor when she singlehandedly saved 2020.
No, but you can go.
Nobody ever comments this on other artists reaction but when it's Taylor, haters always find a way.
