The best property because the elevation is manageable. The mountains can be challenging, and the final selection looks like more in the valley, which makes it easier on the kids. Bless them.
I can speak only for myself but I am watching your channel not just for the build of property. I love watching the growth and the dynamic of the family, the little ones are growing fast, the experience and the decisions of a very nice family. I only started watching because Spencer couldn't figure out how to open the shipping container and I thought this channel would bring so much entertainment because it looked like you guys were way in over your head. I loved your channel. Watching a young couple that met at a restaurant, fell in love and had a dream to live off grid. Struggled, lived in an enclosed trailer as you built your cargo trailer home. I enjoyed your journey, totally related to this quest as something I too dreamt about. I subscribed early and watched faithfully. But sadly this channel is now Rich RUclipsrs buying mountain property and I now exit this ride and seek more relatable content elsewhere

This is so amazing and reminds me of how our land journey went. We searched and made offers on 6 properties- all fell through. The 7th (number of completion) one was just absolutely perfect and more acreage than we could never imagined. God literally has his hands in all of this. Made an offer and it went through. Must admit I was worried at first because I saw no watersource😮but then after Spencer drove with the bike for a while I saw a wonderful source of clear water. This channel has awaken something in me. I had a really rough childhood living in a dysfunctional family and I've been struggling with the results (traumas) from that my entire adulthood. I've found the love of my life but I was always afraid we couldn't accomplish our dreams of an actual functioning family and living together in the woods in a house we'd built but your videos showed me that all of that is possible. You give me hope. I can tell that your family is an actual healthy one and the love is unconditional. I'll definitely stick around to see the progress and get more inspired by all of you! And, unless their rolling in dough and can cover their entire property with super-expensive and maintenance heavy solar stuff, they'll be relying on what millions upon millions of Americans have relied on for over one hundred years, well & septic.

I loved being in the woods . Nothing beats the mountains . Just be careful of the predators . Find out what type live there and then look for signs . Tracks and so forth ..

If you knew these industrious couple, you would know they'd build from scratch all over again. That's their mission. They want to end up with the absolute perfect home for them and their precious children. Nothing less will satisfy them! I only wish I could purchase their current property when they're ready to move on to their new one.

No, of course, no one did! These people are just the salt of the earth and they're just following their heart-desire and chasing their dreams, day by day. Believe me I don't want to buy their original property out of envy or jealousy, rather only out of admiration and appreciation for all the love, sweat and perfectionism they both invested into it. I value all of that immensely.

@@kauaimu Really? As soon as they started building the new cabin, it was obvious to me it wasn't going to be a guest house at the current location. Building it off-site and having experts move it to the mountain location is a stroke of genius! I believe this has been in the works since the vacation they took to the mountains and I said so in the comments at the time. Can't wait for the video showing the move!

Trust me, after personally growing up on top of a mountain in NH, if you have dirt roads and any possibility of snow, you'll need a 4 wheel drive. Especially if you plan on getting that trailer up there. And IF you get any substantial snow up there on a mountain, expect 5 seasons...spring summer, winter, fall and of course, mud season...falling somewhere between winter and spring. Make sure emergency services can find you if you build up there, and make sure you and the kiddles will have plenty of things to do since you'll be pretty far from civilization.

I always thought we had 4 seasons in NH. Winter, winter, winter, and construction? I gotta imagine they're still in the south and don't have to worry much about snow. At least they won't need to worry abut getting an oil truck up their driveway in the snow!
