    The sad part is there was a similar situation with Terry crews when he told a story about how he was sexually assaulted in public and a celebrity party by a producer in Hollywood and how his whole entire situation got laughed at even by government officials and swept under the rug because that man had so much power with the police

      I was five when my neighbour taught us girls who lived on the street how to defend ourselves in case we were attacked. He was a cop and thus had been taught how to evade getting grabbed etc. The moves he taught us were legit, by the way. I used some of them when I was assualted by a group of street burglars in Rome in my late teens.
      Looking back almost 50 years later I am wondering if he knew something we never knew about. Was there some really horrible dude in our town and the nieghbour taught so that we would be prepared just in case? Because as far as I can remember he did not have the same self defence classes with the boys, so... yeah, there probably was some p*do living close by who preferred girls of kindergarten age.

      This is so true, girls are taught from childhood to basically walk around afraid of men at every turn. After being SA'd as a kid, that fear and anxiety never left me. But hardly anyone has conversations with their sons about SA and inappropriate relationships with adults. I mean, male culture sits there and praises boys who are assaulted by their female teachers, instead of trying to help them and guide them through their trauma. It's so gross.

The main issue is how rarely men will support each other in their mental health needs but will support awful men who do awful things.

    As a Christian, I can't say I didn't have a visceral reaction to seeing a man take the notion "Follow God, not Culture" so lightly to the point where he would shamelessly, without remorse or compassion, wear it in a video where he idolizes an unapologetic and unsympathetic serial rapist. It's disgusting. He doesn't condemn or seriously question any of his actions or words so I know he isn't trying to help Johnson get on a better path in life. I have had non-Christian and Christian friends who were so clearly spiraling out of control that I stayed close to in order to pray for them and help them get back on track. But even then, I always kept a distance because actions and opinions can rub off onto you. It's clear this young man Hustler spirit clearly doesn't have any true friends to help him see that what he says and does don't line up with what he thinks he believes; neither does he desire to help Johnson see how his actions and words affect others.
    My heart goes out to all male and female victims of such heinous crimes. May God give you justice; may God give you peace🤍

    I have brought up this issue with men in my life (not this gross dude, but having unresolved mental issues) and the answer always seems to be: "What good is talking about it going to do?" or "I can just talk to you about it." While I am happy to listen, I unfortunately never finished my psych degree after the epilepsy got out-of-hand and am nowhere near the hours I need to be qualified. I cannot provide the tools or resources that a licensed professional can. Yes, speaking to a professional is entirely different than family or friends. There is a reason they go to school and have to intern for so long. They use different methods (depending on what they studied in particular or currently practice) to help you approach issues from different angles with different actions to help end up with different (hopefully better) results than where you're at. I think this concept is woefully lost on the majority of boys and men out there- most especially the ones who need it the most.
    The specific issue of rape has always been one met with skepticism and ridicule, regardless as to gender, but I can see that it is far less believed within the male community. This is astounding considering that 1 in 5 girls will experience childhood sexual abuse and 1 in 8 boys will. Now, that's just the reported numbers. I personally have not met another woman who hasn't experienced something horrific below the age of 17. I don't have any doubts the numbers are higher for men, too. I know it took my cousin a long time to get over the undue shame he felt, the questioning of his sexuality (children are not sexual beings, so this is a moot point), and ultimately feeling weak and disempowered from the whole experience. This idea that the only appropriate emotion for men to show is anger is stupid. You're just as human as the rest of us and anger is such a surface-level emotion. Dig deeper. What's beneath it? Frustration? Shame? Confusion? Digust? Remorse? Shock? Sadness? Regret? YOU ARE NOT ROBOTS: FEEL YOUR FEELS.
    I had no idea this was going on on TikTok, but I definitely would have sent some emails to the US Team as it turns out they aren't doing the ban on Sunday (shocker.) I will say that it's a bit insulting to say that this mockery of victimization and giving a platform to predators is unique to men. Without getting too into it: look at those in positions of power. Look at freaking Nick Fuentes who single-handedly has traumatized an entire generation of school-aged girls with his stupid catchphrase.....which was immediately turned around on him in the form of, "Your house, my choice." Dude ran to mommy for safety while people destroyed his house. Such a based, red-pilled, alpha male right there. I live in a Frontline ban state where the threat of this very thing is made on a regular basis. Women and GIRLS are getting DMs with the most repugnant stuff ever written. I am honestly considering arming myself and I despise those things....but it is an ever-present and very real threat.

    • @gameznotgames2435
      @gameznotgames2435 11 часов назад

      I genuinely recommend that anyone who has had any kind of traumatic event (that is defined by you, nobody else. It can be as simple as not feeling good about yourself because someone said really ugly things to you), give counseling a go before you knock it, ESPECIALLY if you have the insurance to do so. It is a process of trial and error to find the right one, but most do free consultations where you can ask questions and get to know them a bit.
      Highly recommend going through Psychology Today as they do some pretty damn good vetting on the people they list. You can filter by preferred age, gender, background, method of meeting (online/in-person), ect. You just shoot off some request for consults and you'll usually hear back in a very short amount of time (they really do want to help. Most go into this line of work because they care, not for the money). Alma is also a good resource, but whatever way you get there- give it a go. No judgement, nobody telling you how messed up you are, just someone listening and trying to help.

      We know of the failings of DNA labs that sent people to prison for 10+ years for crimes they didn't commit, and those were the honest mistakes.
      There is an ongoing investigation in Colorado that affects over 650 cases, and they haven't even finished going through 1 examiner's results. And that's just one state, one examiner. There's evidence, still in Colorado, that other labs were doing similar things under pressure from the prosecution and investigators (DA, Sheriffs) to basically cover for otherwise weak evidence.

Look at one of the most famous cartoons ever that almost very kid has watched at least once, Looney tunes. Almost very episode that Bugs Bunny is in he is either dressing up like a woman to seduce a guy or kissing a guy to make him feel uncomfortable and that is seen as a joke all the way back then, pinned in our childhood minds that a male making another male feel demasculated and assaulted is funny. it's deeply fucked up that our society treats rape as a joke just because the victim's a man. It's not just prison rape too, people ted to treat F on M spousal rape(F on M rape in general) as punchline more than even a whole joke. And that goes double if the victim was the one doing the penetrating. ("Oh, you shoulda just enjoyed it", "What are you, Gay?" etc). Likewise(if not moreso) if it's an F teacher(or other position of power) and M student(or subordinate) victim. People, including NEWS ANCHORS act like the victim 'got lucky' instead of being raped.
    Then again, ours is also a culture where a tiny-fingered rapist with 34 felonies can get off basically scott free and become president, or where a rapist can be let off without punishment or conviction because "he has his whole future ahead of him".
    Come to think of it, our culture seems to have a really fucked relationship with such a heinous act.
