Little bit of a light-hearted video going over some of the tuning to get this build running. It's very very close. I hope to have it tuned by the end of the month.
Cycling or no thats dope af.🔥🔥 Im learning welding and hope to get a lathe and hydraulic press in the next year or so and i cant stop thinking of the possibilities paired with my 3d printer for more practical firearms. (Casting via printing the part and using it for mold making, custom jigs for anything i can model in CAD, correctish grips handgaurds, etc.)
You did a great job on this project, cant wait to see it be dialed in perfect. Out of curiosity is it under gassed because of more friction from the reweld, changes in bolt mass or just having to mess with the gas system and drill a new one?
It's a balancing act between the recoil spring, striker spring, and added mass of the striker. Everything moves extremely smooth since it's been lapped in, but getting the gas system to drive the other components is the tuning process.
